Compliment thread

These have been dead for a while because a lot of people were feeling left out, but I miss the kind of positivity it spread and I know I'm not the only one. However, I don't want to ignore why they got abandoned in the first place; so I'll be going back to an old rule I made in a Compliment thread a few years ago. When you post a comment, you must compliment someone who hasn't received a compliment yet. For example, if CBers 1-7 had already received compliments, I could compliment as many of them as I wanted, but I would also have to compliment one of the other CBers.

The purpose of compliment threads was never to make some people feel better while putting others down. We don't want people to feel left out; it doesn't happen on purpose when it comes to these threads. You are not selfish for wanting compliments or overdramatic for feeling forgotten. It's tough to give sincere compliments to people who rarely post, or are very new and we haven't gotten to know yet. Sometimes things like that can't be helped- I'm not saying that you should be more active if you're already very busy and stressed. And if you're new, then you're new! We can't wait to get to know you, it just takes a bit of time. There is always the old trick where if you come and compliment some people, you'll usually get compliments in return. Comments like "I haven't gotten any compliments, I guess everyone hates me" or "PLEASE COMPLIMENT ME!!" are neither efficient nor appreciated, especially if you do so anonymously.

I'd also like to add that good compliments come in all shapes and sizes. Being one sentence long doesn't make a compliment a "bad" one, just a short one. It only matters that you're sincere about it.

Thank you so much Starch! Your compliment means a lot to me, and I feel pretty much the same way about you! You know the girl in your class at school who's so sweet and smart and everyone loves her? And you wanna be best friends with her for like no reason? That's you. You're that girl.
Aza - You are so talented! For real! If you're blushing and denying it, SHUSH LISTEN TO ME. Your art brings happiness and awe to everyone who's ever asked you for a picturing ever, and that's amazing. Also, I love your name, doing a written picturing for you that one time was super fun. 
Morning - You have always been so so so helpful to me, specifically when we still had NaNo. You are also so well-spoken and have just an elegant yet super fun vibe about you.
Lumi - You are so positive and fun and caring and ah just so sweet! Whenever I read your posts, I feel super supported and seen, and I think that is, in part, due to your talent for putting your thoughts and feelings into amazing words. 
peppermint - You are so energetic and positive and fun! I feel like your that bubbly and supportive friend who makes everyone smile when they see you.
Cynthia - (revive BAB) I love to read your posts! When I first joined the CB like a year ago, your posts were one of the first I read, and since then I've always been unconsciously checking to see if you had posted.

Thank you so much, Jade <33 I don't know you too well, but you've always come across as a really mature, cool, fun, creative person. This is kind of a weird comparison since I don't know how old you are XD but you've always kind of seemed like that one extremely cool teenaged counselor at camp who never treated me like a little kid just because I was one. Whenever I read your posts, it always hits me how cool you are but also how you feel like someone I could just start talking to and not feel embarrassed or weird about what I'm saying, ever.
