-the sound of rain on the roof when I'm going to sleep

-when I'm writing a story, the sight and feeling of filling up blue-lined notebook paper with pencilled letters

-getting a letter from my pen pal

Here are some things I love:

> The crunch of fluffy snow covering a layer of ice/hard-packed snow, and the satisfying sound that stomping in slush makes

> How fluffy and friendly puppies can be, plus the adorable little things (like cute little habits and mannerisms) they do naturally. It's kinda funny when you see someone do the same things; really gives a whole new meaning to "puppy-like." :D 

> Reaching peak productivity at a ridiculous hour of the night, and the quiet satisfaction of getting stuff done while everyone else is sleeping

> Taking the time to reorganise your living space, and having everything slot in perfectly

~ Small towns and the individual vibe that each one has

~ Cloudy days where you know it's going to rain, and you're just looking at the ombre sky and waiting as the smell of it drifts in on the wind

~ Snowstorms! Especially when it's at night and you know there's not gonna be school the next day :)

~ Working with new employees at my grocery store; I get to talk to them and help them out and they're usually pretty cool!

~ When you listen to a song and it brings back this fleeting feeling of the time when you listened to it a lot; the smells and what you did and how the weather felt

~ When a cat you don't know walks up to you of its own accord and demands to be petted

~ As Jaybells said, filled notebooks. The greatest joy of life, the knowledge that you yourself filled this notebook with entire worlds.

~ When you catch a glimpse of yourself in a random mirror and you actually look good

~ When something funny happens and you make this moment of eye contact with a random person and both laugh silently
