Starbright: ~yes. obviously.~

It seems there are now more mere seconds after I went to Pudding's Place and came back. What is this? I think that "too much of a good thing" might be what's happening. Maybe whoever this is should slow down a bit.

I think they're all the same person... but I shall not venture to say who.

I don't know. I was off the grid for a few days and this feels like walking back into your house after a vacation and finding out that someone has replaced your carpeting with crushed cheetos.

Look, everyone.

Darkvine started the grass throwing thread with good intentions: so that everyone could have fun, and so that CaC could be a little more chaotic than it was before.

Soon, I got slightly bored with the grass throwing, and I figured others were after posting once. So, I decided to give CaC even more of an opportunity to be chaotic.

Enter: the dirt, paper, wood, leaf, aloe, math, clay, water, strawberry, blueberry, banana, and hay throwing threads.

I started with the dirt. It didn't show up at first, so I tried a bunch of other ones. Yes, I know I have went overboard with 12 different throwing threads, but I wanted people to have fun. With something besides grass.

I now realize I was going overboard. I'm sorry for all of this.

But we need to learn from this.

We all need to remember that CBers are real people. When new CBers come in, it takes a few days for me to get adjusted to them being a real person. Random postings, like the quenn elizabeth and the Kinka the Kinkajou (yes, I was there a while ago) don't seem like real people until they become part of the CB.

So it goes with posting under different names.

When I started all of those threads, people started treating those throwers like they weren't human. I personally regarded the grass thrower as a kind of CB deity (until I learned Darkvine posted under that name). Darkvine quickly revealed her identity. But when we post under different names, sometimes we don't do it as quickly.

Yes, I know I was absolutely crazy and stupid.

Yes, I know I annoyed a lot of people.

But we need to remember that people posting on the CB are real people, which can be verified via the CAPTCHA.

I felt really bad (i.e. I could have posted "TvT") when everyone started calling me "whoever 'you' is" and "the same person". Yes, I know I am stupid since they didn't know my identity, but we all need to remember this.

Thank you.

oh, don't worry, it wasn't annoying (at least to me) it was mostly a bit confusing, which quickly turned into mildly hilarious. I completely understand, agree with, and respect your reasons for doing it, and none of said reasons were stupid, at all! as for crazy, that was the whole point of it (at least my grass thread).

Awww Sine. I do think it is a bit annoying that you did all of those but I completly understand. Maybe if you wanted to do those again try doing it one a a time and wait until the thread goes to the second page and then make another
