Hi there!! I'm Wafflecat. I'm pretty new to the CB -- I've commented a few times, but never properly introduced myself. I love reading, dancing (especially hip hop and contemporary), and listening to music! I'm currently reading: [takes deep breath] the 7th Harry Potter book (for the first time!), the 13th Wings of Fire book (rereading -- I LOVE that series), Vessel by Sarah Beth Durst, and The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan. I have two cats who I love dearly -- who else has pets? I also want a dragon but think it wouldn't get along with my cats. (There's also the small problem of it being mythical). My pronouns are she/her. I'm excited to join the Chatterbox!!

Hi, Wafflecat! Welcome to the CB! *throws welcoming confetti everywhere* I believe I've seen you post once or twice before :) I have no pets, sadly, but there are tons of really tame wild rabbits who frequent the backyard, so I guess they count as pets, kind of. It's so nice that you have cats! I've always wanted to have a kitten because kittens are sooo cute. Anyway, I'm excited that you're officially joining the CB now! :)

Heyyyy! Welcome, Wafflecat! (love your name) I love Harry Potter, WoF, and books by Rick Rioridan.
I have a box lab mix dog, (who is getting pretty old, and likes to think he is a lap dog) And I love cats!

I like pop music, mostly. Currently, my favorite artists are Taylor Swift and Mabel. I also LOVE the musicals Six and Hamilton. I like pretty much anything with interesting lyrics and a good beat, though! What do you all listen to?

Yes, I like pretty much any song with a good beat too. I love Taylor Swifts older songs, and I think I've heard of Mabel. I have been loving BTS (Bangtan Boys) which is a Korean boy band. Most of their songs are sung in korean with some english in the mix, and pretty much all of them are upbeat dancing songs. they are k-pop

I love Wings of Fire but I haven't finished it yet for some reason. I'm on the Lost Continent. As for Harry Potter, I've read up only to the fourth or fifth book. Anyways, happy to have you join! :D

Anyways, setting my terrible sense of time aside, I also love listening to music, reading books, and cats! I have a cat at home, who is rather arrogant and dislikes cuddles, but I still love her nontheless. I'm reading: Good Omens by Terry Pratchet and Neil Gaiman(again), The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas(again), The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, the entire Warriors series by Erin Hunter (again), and The Gay Genius: The Life and Times of Su Tungpo by Lin Yutang (yes, again). I'm stuck with a lot of rereads because I'm currently being bombarded by nine high school classes that I need to learn, so I don't have time to head to the library. I look forwards to seeing you around!

Hello, Wafflecat! I'm Periwinkle, but you can just call me Peri. Welcome to the Chatterbox! I'm just getting into Rick Riordan's books - I read the first Percy Jackson book back in September and then didn't finish the second, so I picked it back up again recently and have been enjoying it. If you like Harry Potter, Wings of Fire, and Rick Riordan, then you might enjoy the Keeper of the Lost Cities books by Shannon Messenger. I've only read the first three books but they're similar to Harry Potter and Percy Jackson in many ways.
I love music as well! I'm currently learning keyboard and love to listen to all kinds of music. I like Taylor Swift, too! Are you excited for 1989 (Taylor's Version)? I know I am! What's your favorite album of hers?
I also enjoy musicals. Hamilton is a favorite of mine. I haven't seen Six but I've heard some of the music and it's great. I also love Wicked and Aladdin.

hey man. im Lord Entropy. i like reading too. I cant dance, but ive always wanted to. people who dance are pretty amazing, they're athletes and artists at the same time, i always thought it'd be cool to do that. but. im clumsy. so yeah, huge respect dude, thats awesome. i had a big rick riordan phase when i was younger, I liked magnus chase. maybe ill revisit that. dragons would probably eat your cats if given the chance, so then being mythical might be an okay thing. enjoy the chatterbox dude.

Welcome to the CB wafflecat! Your name does feel pretty familiar. I used to have a dog, but this past year he passed away :( really sweet and loving (and GINORMOUS!!), he was 14! And ACKK I LOVE WOF AND ANYTHING RICK RIORDAN!! Do you read Tui T Sutherland's blog? She isn't very active rn but I love it anyways (and to think that I was boycotting wof for a while...). I'm currently reading (takes a deeper breath), The Soul of an Octopus, The Islanders, Meanwhile (for over maybe two years now cuz it's impossible), Spilling Ink (rereading), The Lost Hero (rereading for the hundredth time), Fahrenheit 451, The Lost Things Club, On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness, Jane Eyre, and some other books :) I love singing and dancing too! Mostly Ballet and musical theater but I've taken jazz and a teeny bit of hip hop and tap. And YES I WANT A (friendly) DRAGON!!! But... that's probably not gonna be happening anytime soon. Love your location btw! Just came back from a road trip and that's what I was doing most of the 7 hours! (That and seeing the sights... beautiful!!)

I 'have' one cat who actually belongs to the neighbors, but he hangs out in my house most of the time. his name is Thor, and he somehow manages to hunt even though he dosen't have front claws. I, too want a pet dragon, but Thor would not like that one bit (he's very territorial)
