Daily Free Piece

Daily Free Piece of Sage Wisdom (DFPSW).

I will post random phrases (hopefully every day but we’ll see). Anyone else is welcome to post as well; we can have as many per day as we want. They can be ridiculous or serious, whatever you want to write. I have 3 to start. One from me, one from my brother, and one from my mom.

Me- The mini elephants are already on your roof; don’t let the big ones on.

Brother- Bunnies are IMPORTANT to the North American ecosystem.

Mom- Don’t count your matches before they’re egged.

submitted by Sempreverde, age hi guys, mini elephants!

You should never cut down trees; not only is it harmful to the ecosystem, but the trees will come back and replant themselves even bigger in the same spot. Don't make Hercules' mistake!

I so deeply want to put something here but can't think of anything...

uhhh,  when you're sightreading like for an audition, just keep going and playing the rhythm in your head/keeping up with what you're missing out on in the music so you can get back on in the next place? Like even if you just get three notes, if they're properly placed that's better than nothing i guess XD rhythm and keeping the tempo is generally the most important thing

oh also: if you do a yarncraft like crocheting or use embroidery floss or anything like that, find someone who's willing to detangle all the knots. or just don't throw it all together in a bin... but who has the organization for that?!

last thing: make sure you know what temperature you're supposed to steep your tea at and how long you're supposed to steep it. get a thermometer and a timer if possible. You don't want to steep your super delicate green tea in boiling water for 8 minutes is all I'm saying. It will be painfully bitter. And too cold/short and it just won't taste like much.
