HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LEAF!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LEAF!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LEAF!

Probably by the time you see this, it will be the day after your birthday, but, what the heck. :P In any case, happy 13th! How does it feel? I am sort of nervous about my 13th, not because I think it's unlucky, but because it'll mean the end of my childhood. I'll look back and think about being a kid, but I won't be any more. I'll be a teenager.

Sorry. *shakes self* I'm not trying to depress you. In any case,

Happy Birthday to you,

Happy Birthday to you,

Happy Birthday dear Le-eaf,

Happy Birthday to yooooou!

Yay! Blow out the candles and make a wish! D------@ Sorry it's only a cupcake. I can't make a cake. Here is my gift. Your very own, personal baby animal of your choice! Puppy, rabbit, otter, giraffe-the choice is yours! Here is a form for it:

@ Wolfgirl: you're going to have to grow up - physically - at some point. No use worrywarting over that. The thing you can prevent is losing the best points of your child-mind. The door to Fairyland, as L.M.Montgomery puts it.

And now for the party! Cake '-()), birthday hat *<, balloons O~~ O~~ O~~, and a song! :0 :0 :0 :0 (That's a choir. It's singing Happy Birthday.)

And presents. Lots of presents.  #[]#[] #[] #[] #[] #[] #[] #[]

So cheers! And stuff of that sort!

Cheers and birthday songs,

lavendershy

Andy says "katr." I think he's offering to cater for the event.

@Lavendershy: Oh, I already have grown up physically (pretty much). :s And that's what worries me.
Yeah, Andy's catering because-*looks around warily* Nope, he can't see. *whispers* He can't sing.
Speaking of Andy, he says bggv. Bag give? Oh sweetie! He's giving her a present in a bag! *realizes she sounds like Andy's mom and hastily moves on*

Happy Birthday Leaf!!!!

And to Wolfgirl. Take it from the girl who basically cries every night of her birthday that it's not as bad as it seems. I was terrified at turning 13, because i thought that it marked the ending of childhood, and the start of being a teenager. I couldn't have been more wrong. I am more of a kid then ever, sure i no longer am learning to ride my bike. But i still sometimes pretend that my bike is a horse when i pedal to the library.

(did i just admit that? yes Kendra you did! oh wow, you must really be weird... no not really Kendra, i'm just me... do you think i should stop talking to myself? well for now anyway, you'll probably start again once you press submit, yes, yes your right. Alright then, goodbye Kendra, bye Kendra!)

I mean, when you were 9 turning 10, remember how scary that was (for me...) that now you were double digets? now looking back years 9 and 10 didn't seem that different. it's the same when you turn 13. Now i shall stop rambling and try to do something productive. Perhaps i'll make a cake... (at midnight kendra? really? ....... go away realistic Kendra.) *sigh* this is what happens when i exercise to much and don't go to bed till the next day. :)

Smiles!

Happy birthday, Leaf! May yourself and your tree and your fellow leaves be happy and healthy for the rest of your days. The 'rest of your days' part is sort of odd, but I just felt like typing it. :D

@Wolfy's second post: I have too. I don't like it either. Meh.

@Kendra: I pretend my bike is a horse and a broomstick. I'll probably be doing that for a long, long time. Cake does sound good at midnight. But I made cookies instead. Maybe I'll finish them up for my family after I get off of CB...

Aragorn says 'hibt'. It might mean 'Hobbit,' or 'hi bert,' or 'hi bert the hobbit...' I guess i'll never know, for Aragorn is a guy of few words and many names...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEAF!!  I am so glad you joined the Chatterbox!!!  *virtual giftcard*  I'm sorry you have to have such an.... awkward conversation ensuing on your birthday thread (that could be possibly why you haven't posted.  JK!)  but I still wish you a happy birthday!

Actually, turning 13, well, it wasn't scary at all for me.  I am a very optimistic person and becoming older doesn't effect me, or damper my spirits.  Turning 13, you don't have to ditch all your "child-like" ways.  Some just might expect more from you, and when you're in public, people don't assume you'll start talking to yourself, or playing a pretend game.  When you are on your own, however, or with family members, acting "younger" is totally fine.  Your family doesn't judge you.

@ Leaf: Happiest of birthdays to you! You are a great member of the CB and we all <3 you much. *gives cookies*

Re: growing up physically: I have too, but basically you just hafta deal with it. Like Lav said, it's losing your childhood mind, not body, that you should worry about.

Wolfgirl, I'm sixteen if that says anything.  TNÖ is... um... seventeen, I think.... Really.  I thought the same thing until I realized that there's actually no difference except that people will refer to you as a teenager.  You can still be as silly and crazy as you want.  All of my friends except one are under the age of twelve.  Ok???  (well, besides all of you guys)  :)

Happy belated birthday! Here's whatever gift you desire most! *gives said gift*

I'm pretty sure that TNO is still 16, actually, but it doesn't really matter - well, it probably does to her, obviously, but you know what I mean...

Happy birthday, Leaf!! *gives cookie cake to throw at random passerby* 13, right? *hopes she doesn't sound like a stalker* I'm turning 13 on August 26, and I'm kind of nervous. Not terribly, but nervous. :) I know I'm never (hopefully) going to lose my wacky, hyper mind... I'll never grow up mentally :), and I hope to get taller eventually :), but it's kind of scary. Seriously, I'm almost positive that last week I was too scared to turn 4. :)

I remember that when I was 3 years old, I wanted to stay 3 forever. Of course, I turned 4, had a very nice birthday party and got nice presents. That night, when I went to sleep, before my mom tucked my into bed, I told her, "Mommy, I don't like being 4. It's too crazy and big. Can I be 3 again? It's much more 'funner'. Please?" I still laugh at that, because I was only 4 and having a serious conversation with my mom about getting older and extra independence and things. :)

Yeah, I think TNO (umlaut) is 16. At least the last time she posted, she was. :) Unless she just had her birthday today.

So, yeah! Happy birthday! *throws confetti* You're, um, one year older! Your presents are below, if you wish to play with them. :)

O~~~ (balloon) *< (party hat) &[] (deformed present) '-0 (tiny cookie cake)

I'm very nervous about my next birthday too. (June 11) It is because my little sister always says, "When you turn ** will you still like me & my friends?"

It's depressing...

Smile :P

*Wow I can't believe that even though I have said sad things here my name still remains so happy. Humph*
