Secret Identities!

OK, starting 4/18/10 through 5/2/10, this thread is only for secret identities. Don't post
anything on this with your true identity until the end of the two weeks! :)
(So, none of these people are using real names, ages, or places.) At
the end of the week everyone gets to guess who they think people really
are, and then we give our real names. I saw one of these exploring old threads, and it looked like fun.

Ooh, fun. My {fake} name is Rose W. I'm 13 and a third year at Hogwarts. I'm in Ravenclaw House. Dad wanted me to be in Gryffindor, where he and Mum were, and where my younger brother Hugo is now he's here, but Mum's proud of me. She was nearly put in Ravenclaw herself. Anyway, I'm doing this for an extra-credit assignment for Muggle Studies. I have to spend time with Muggles my age and write fifteen inches on it. So Mum sent this computy-thingie, and Professor McGonagal fixed it up so it works here. It's so odd to press the little buttons and see things happen on the screen. You Muggles have had some good ideas. So anyway, I -- oh, Merlin's beard! If I don't leave right now I'm going to be so late for Professor Longbottom's class. I'll write more later.

Hey, my name is Hua.  I live on an island called Dracoterra in the south Bakk sea.  It is called Dracoterra because high up on cliffs in the middle of the isle used to live a colony of dragons.  They have not been seen for years.  My friend Elisa and I have a dream to climb high up onto the cliffs and try to find the dragons.  We want to be explorers and bring some source of wealth to our people by bringing back treasures from faraway lands.  Bye!

My mother would not want me to post on this site because of the many magicians and magic wielders here, but I do it anyway against her wishes. What is being a magician like? In the old days it was the magicians who talked to the dragons. Elisa says she would like to be a magician, and how do you do it? I'm curious too. Here on Dracoterra magicians aren't so highly respected though. On the mainland they are, and our princess is a magician. Dracoterraians don't like magic. We live a solitary, hard life. Only Elisa and I are dreamers and have ambition. Our life is hard. Magic would make it easier. Please tell me what magic you have to do to make sure annoying little brothers don't tag after you. Thanks.

P. S. I am working on my writing skills and they might be bad. My parents don't know how to write and hardly anyone does.

Being a witch is amazing. I loved the first time I did a spell -- it makes you feel so powerful. To go to Hogwarts and have that kind of magic, you have to be born with magical ability, but I know there are other kinds of magic. Try talking to Alisa Luna -- she could probably help you.

Hello, Marley Sue and Hua L. It's nice to meet you both. Hua, I've never seen dragons, but I've seen pictures, and I don't think I fancy them.

I just got back from a late-running Quidditch practice. (I play Chaser on the Ravenclaw team.) I love Quidditch, but Thomas, our new Captian pushes us so hard, and we're all exhausted. We have a game with Slytherin tomorrow, and Thomas says if we beat them we have a good chance at the Cup. I'm so tired. More later.

(I think I'm getting the hang of this computy-thingie. What does the yellow smile button do? I'm afraid to push it ...)

It's safe. Go ahead and click on the yellow Smiley and you'll find out what it does.

Hello. My name is Jill. I live in an old-fashioned cottage in a small
town. I live with my parents and my twin brother Jack. I need help. My cottage
has no electricity. I have to go to the library in order to use the
computer, but my town is so small that I can walk from my cottage to the
library, so it is not hard. My cottage does not have running water,
either, so we use a well. It is outside our house, in our yard. I like
our yard. It is big, and it has a hill. The well is on the hill. It is a
big well. I am not strong, and my brother Jack is not strong, so we
have to go together when we have to fetch a pail of water from the well.
We often have to fetch pails of water from the well. It is a chore of
ours. We have many chores. I have to set the table, and Jack has to put
the dishes away after our mother washes them. Those are our chores, besides fetching pails of water from the well. Jack and I had to fetch a
pail of water from the well today. After we climbed the hill, Jack fell down. He broke a bone in his forehead. He said it was painful. Then I felt something push me down. I couldn't see what it was. I did not break a bone in my forehead, but it hurt when I fell. I don't know why I fell. I did not fall the other times I fetched water from the well with Jack. I don't know why I fell this time. Jack said, "We weren't balancing properly, and so Gravity pushed us down." I don't know who Gravity is, but she is invisable. I know she is because I did not see her push me, even though I looked. I think Gravity must be either a fairy or a witch or a goblin or a sorcerer, but I do not know which. It hurt when I fell. I did not like it. I don't see why Gravity should want to push us just because we did not balance well. It seems mean. I want to make Gravity know what it's like to hurt. I want to push her so that she falls down a hill. Then she will know that it hurts to be pushed, and she will not do it to other people anymore. The only way I can push her is to find her, but I cannot find her if I do not know who she is. That is why I posted here. I want you to help me. I want you to tell me if you know anything about Gravity, and make it easier for me to push her if you can. Or maybe Gravity posts here. I don't know. If any of you are Gravity, please tell me. Then I can push you down a hill. It will hurt. My teacher made me write a poem in class today. I could not focus on anything except the time when I fell, and so that is what I wrote about. I wrote a good poem. It was from Gravity's point of view, not mine. It used grown-up language, because Gravity's pushing hurt so badly that I could tell that she is strong, as strong as a grown-up. It went like this:
Jack and Jill go up the hill

To fetch a pail of water.

Jack fell down and I make him break a bone in his forehead now

And Jill comes tumbling after him.

My teacher said edited it. She said it is better now. I liked my version better. She wanted me to show you hers, though. I had already told her that I was going to talk to you, but I didn't say why. I didn't think she would like that I was going to hurt Gravity, so I didn't tell her. She wanted me to show you her version of my poem. Here it is:

Jack and Jill went up the hill

To Fetch a pail of water.

Jack fell down

And broke his crown

And Jill came tumbling after.

I don't know what she means by crown. Jack was not wearing a crown when he fell, so the edited poem does not make sense.

Hey, Jill, is your teacher's name Mother Goose?

Jill, my mother is a Healer, what I think you Muggles would call a Doctor, and she says that the crown is a name for the bone in your forehead.

Admin, I'll try the Smile. Cool Amazing!

Hello, I am Alisa Luna [fake name],

I am from the U.S.A and am currently attending Gelfrin’s Exceptional Magic School for Exceptional Magicians. It's a boarding school. I just finished with weaponry (I weild a sword) and am currently supposed to be memorizing five different spells: Blast (break), Aquash (covers some one with water, I may try it on Mara), Picta (removes a splinter, glass ect.) Ronck (hurls rocks, why I don't know), and Bleen (heals cuts scratches, and bruises). I think I'm going to visit my Gryphons now, Lianu and Leeku, they're water gryphons. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I am a Water Wizardess. I'm a magician, but that's just a title. Oh dear, My two L's are getting impatiant. Lianu probably wants me to ride her.
