Paris Trip!!

Paris Trip!!

Well, some of you guys know that I went to Paris in mid-July for 9 days. I'm back now, and it was so amazing & beautiful! I wish I was still there, but I'm glad to be back with all my friends and family. I tried escargot, ratatouille, and I went to a bakery and baked French pastries. I went to Monet's house and his garden, and took the elevator to the top of the Eiffel Tower. In my next post, I'll put up some pictures.

Fantastic pictures Ema!!!  I went to Paris last October because my mom had some work there and it was wonderful!  Our hotel was right near the Arc de Triumph, so the first night we got to see the huge procession going to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.  Oh, you went to Monet's garden!  I would really have wanted to go there - he's such an amazing artist.  Have any of you read "Linnea in Monet's Garden"?  It's pretty young for all of us, something you'd read in the bookstore/library, but it is very cute and got me even more interested than I was in Monet.  When we went to La Tour Eiffel, it was really cloudy, so there was no line, but it was hard to see anything. :)  It looks and sounds like you had a fantastic time.  Thanks for sharing!

@Claire: Ever since I've read a book about Venice I've loved it!  Now I'm trying to learn as much about it as I can!  My Aunt actaully asked me where I want to go if I could go anywhere, and I said Venice.  I think she was being serious, about taking me there...  She  has gone to over fifty countries!  So I might be able to go to Venice!  YAY!  :D
