I have finally

Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

I have finally

I have finally felt the thrill of meeting a buggy face to face!!   =D

Kat and I only live about thirty minutes from each other, so we were able to plan a very convenient meeting for everyone, which was awesome.

The feeling is epic, once you get over the awkward silence and start talking, that is.  xD  The impatience to leave home is also unbearable, especially for the impatient type like me. :P

It was very fun, and I just felt like bragging about it, so I though that the best place to do that was where we all first met.  You may comment on my great fortune now.

That sounds super cool! I wish I could meet one of you buggies! But sadly, that will probably never happen. Anyways, congrats!

We just talked for a little while to get to know one another.  I had to go into the town she lives in for Ballet shoes, so we met at the store while I was doing my fitting. xD  Because we live so close, I really hope that we can see each other a lot more. :D  She might be able to come to my dance recital, which would be epic.

It would be cool if she could come to your recital!

That's awesome! Congratulations! It's really wonderful when that happens. I've met Kimmie and Becka, and it was amazing. Lizzie lives really close to me, and we'd be able to meet if she had a NaNo account, but unfortunately, we don't have any way of communicating privately right now. I'm just very glad I got to meet any CBers at all! I'm also probably going to meet about 10 people from MuseBlog in June, which is equally awesome, though most of you don't know any of those people except Enceladus.

I want to meet everyone. Believe it or not, last night I dreamt that I went to Iowa for ZNZ's birthday party, even though she doesn't live in Iowa. It was awesome. Of course, in the dream, Iowa was near me, and it isn't in real life...

I believe they contact each other through NaNo. I can't really meet any of you guys! ;) I'm in Europe!

@Ima: ZNZ would be cool to meet...I'd be too intimidated to meet TNO...

@PP: I mentioned a town while we were chatting on the facebook group and Kat was like, "That town, that state?"  I was like "Yup, why?"  Then we got to telling each other where we live.  I couldn't believe that  it took us that long to find out how close we are.  xD

Alot of buggies keep track of eachother on the NaNoWriMo site too.  I like the FB site best though, because I've learned alot about those buggies.  You guys have NO idea how weird Meadow is... anyway, just as a short demonstration on the weirdness of her...WEIRD ROCKS AND DEADLY MOUSTACHES!!!!!!   AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!    I LIKE PI/E!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm rambling...

I am so happy that you had a buggy meet-up! :D Isn't it just fantastic? Meeting someone you've never yet, yet already knowing so much about them! CB is the best. :) I've met with *drumroll please*; Grace, Mary Jo, Laura, Leaf, Ima and (most recently) ZB! I just met with ZB the other day, it was super spectacular. Hope to cross paths with other buggies this year, I love traveling! On the West Coast right now, be on the lookout for three crazy triplets pulling an RV West Coast buggies. ;)

It's not that likely that I'll meet anybuggy since (a) I live in RI (who else out there does) and (b) my parents wouldn't be that crazy about my meeting someone I only know from the Internet, plus they'd just be hovering over me and making it awkward :(.  BUT...

if I have kids...

and you have kids...

and we meet up...

it'll be Operation Baby Buggy Switch all over again.  For a demonstration go to Youtube and look for "ironhand get smart" and click on part three.  Or if you have time and patience, click on part one and watch the whole thing. :)

That's awesome!  Isn't so fun to meet up with buggies?  I've only met one buggy: Kimmie, and it was super fun!  I hope to meet more buggies in the future, since you guys are all so cool.  Wow, Kimmie, your list just keeps getting longer, doesn't it?  :)  Anyway, congrats Charlotte!  Sounds like you had a lot of fun.

OOH OOH OOH!  I met Mary Liz on Sunday!  It was amazingly epic.  :)  We kind of made national security kind of uncomfortable, though.  The story of totalls epicsauce:

She told me that she was going to be in St. Louis for a few hours, and that maybe we could meet up because I live close to St.louis (she did this on Facebook).  So she gave me her number, and I texted her and squeed a lot as I was waiting for her to text me back because I was going to meet a Cber for the First Time Evah in Real Life.  And so, we planned to meet in the airport restaurant.  But when my mom and I got there, she had had to move to somewhere else in the airport, in a different terminal, at a gate thingie.

So we took fifteen minutes to get out of where we had parked, because my family is easily confuzzled, especially when it comes to Everything to do With Public Places.  Most of the time was spent driving in circles.  Or...  squares.

But we eventually got to the different terminal, and walked into the building with the gates (I'm nto really sure what they are...  xD), but they only went to 1 through 15, and she was at 18.  My mom gave up then, when ML texted me that they had to leave in 5 minutes.

I convinced my mother to keep trying until she was in the plain.  So we looked around, and noticed stairs.  So we walked up and asked a security lady where gate 18 was, and she said over *there*, but we wouldn't be able to see anyone there, and we couldn't get in without a boarding pass.

Her *there* was very vague there, so we looked at a sign with a map, trying to find 18, when ML texted me, "I see you."  I looked around and saw her and ran towards her and went half way through security but then the security was like, "BACK BACK YOU SCOUNDREL."  Except without the scoundrel part...  But it was like that.

So we got to wave and smile psychotically and  I cried Tears of Joy.  And we took pictures of each other, and txted back and forth.  And yelled "HI!" and  "BYEE!" loudly. It was epic.  Maybe next time I'll get to speak to her...  That would be nice.  (:

And I'm very happy that my mother was such a good sport during that airplane adventure.   And for letting me use her phone to text ML.  :)  THANK YOU MOTHER,  even though you're not reading this...

My First Meeting of a CBer was Totally Awesome.  ♥

Thanks for telling us the whole story, Meadow. I'm glad you didn't get taken into custody by Security at the airport! Your mother may not read this, but you can thank her again and again for being such a good sport and making all that effort. You should try to find something special you can do for her, maybe helping around the house or yard?
