Cat is older than me, so I've never been petless...  Sorry!

Yah, me neither.  We had a kitty, Punkin, who found us a few months before I was born.  He was the best cat in the whole world.  We had to put him to sleep a few years ago.  It was the saddest day of my life.  So now, if I don't think about him to much, I'm ok, otherwise I get teary eyed.  It's really hard when my parents decide they want to cry over him.  So I just crack a joke, which helps, but not much.  We, obviously, consider our pets part of the family, especially because out kitties are so intelligent.  Well, most of the time.  My dad is always talking about Punkin because He was the snuggliest cat in the world, and if you tried to stop petting him, he'd gently reach up and grab your hand and hold it until you petted him again.

Our other cat, Casey, is kinda dopey.  She just doesn't understand that when someone is patting their lap, and calling her name, that it means she's supposed to jump up and get petted.  All she's really interested in is rubbing her cheeks against the kitchen cabinets, getting gross greasy dirt all over them, and food.  She loves to be petted, but only if she's on the ground, or you're watching a movie, or laying in bed.  Then she sits right near your face and purrs sooo loudly, that you can't sleep.  So you have to not touch her at all, cause eventually she'll stop.  Which is a good idea anyway, because otherwise you'll have hair all over your face, inside and out.  Up your nose, in your eyes, in your mouth.  Not fun.  Oh, the other time she'll let you pet her, is if you're my dad, or his friend.

JoJo, on the other hand, is only snugly when it's his idea.  If you suggest it, he'll either bite you, or just plain ignore you.  Of course, he can be really sweet and snugly when he wants to, and he's soooo sweet.  But he is so vicious!!!!!  Man, he has sharp claws and strong jaws.  Ha ha!!!  My mom is listening to music that's saying "you better hope you're not alone" which is funny, because you really don't want to be alone if JoJo decides to latch onto your hand.  It hurts, and it's impossible to get him off.  But, somehow, I love him.  :)

So, we all want a snugly kitten, but sadly can't get one.  Why?  I have no idea.  My mom never seems to be able to answer that.

Undecided

Sorry, I always get a little carried away.  (meaning, I write too much) ;D

I'm so sorry, BellaTrix! :(:( I'd be heartbroken if my old grump ran away, and he's an old grump!  I can't imagine having a normal cat run away!! :(:(:( I'm so sorry!!  When my friend's cockatiel flew away, I almost cried! :(:(:(

So how do I do this? I have a shutterfly account, but I don't know if it will work... it might get really huge. But if it does work, here is my adorable 2-year-old puppy who needs a bath, Leche:

Cute!! My best friend's dad breeds guard dogs, and they kinda look like that! Last time I was at their house, one of them bit me. :( But, I'll be visisting them soon, and I'll take pictures. (They live in SC)

Aww, thanks, guys.  But it's okay.  I'm getting over it.  I think she ran away because she hates vegan food.  She was a grump, too. :)
