Okay....so did anybody

Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Okay....so did anybody

Okay....so did anybody notice I left? Hmmm?  I'm not typing my name--I'll leave that for you to find out.

I will be periodically checking this thread out to see what happens, but I propbably won't post again.

Byebye.

O, btw, listen to Cantus, Rosemary's Sister, Ubi Caritas, The Blessing, Oe'r the Hills and Far Away, and I am going to my West by Connie Dover.

That's what I'll leave you with--hoping that you young people can find beauty and hope from those gorgeous songs.

Namarie, and that one's final.

May Eru Iluvatar bless you all.

Yup, I noticed that you left. I also noticed that you posted a few times on different threads, though, in the past week or two. At least you did if you are who I think you are...

I'm really sorry I cannot remember you...I don't post too often. But I'm real sad you're leaving.

I am only posting so that this thread will go to the top. If this thread does not go to the top right away, you can expect another post from me later. Thank you.

This is weird.  Of course I've noticed alot of people left.  So how exactly can I guess which one you are?  It's awfully horribly sad about all that have left, but I can't make a thread for each one!  So, trust me, I'm sure you've been missed. If you'd like to stay and are only leaving because you think no one noticed that you disappeared, please don't think that way, because it's untrue!

I have noticed a lot of people leaving lately.  A hint to your identity, please?

Mattie! Yes, I noticed you left. I'd really appreciate it if you told us why...

Mm-hmmm, yes it's Mattie.  I was wondering how long it would take you to figure out who it was...

I kind of figured it would be you.... :)

Here's why I left.

1) My parents told me to stop because apparently hackers can get into our computer if I use social networking stuff.  Apparently.

2) It was taking up too much of my time.  I am doing serious music stuff and I need lots of time to practice.  Also, I'm going into grade 9 so I'll have a huge workload, come fall.

3).. i was more than a little bit annoyed at the number of Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, aand Warrior Rps.

Oh, I see. That makes sense. I do think that hackers really aren't likely to use obscure websites like this because it's really unlikely that they'd find them, and if someone wants to do that, they usually use Facebook or something they already know about, or create their own site which makes it even easier if enough people get on, but I suppose it's technically possible, and anyway, when you're busy, it's hard to find time for this. And the RPs do get annoying, because if you don't want to read tham, they take up space and push other threads to the back. It's gotten much better, so I really don't mind anymore, but I can see why someone would. Goodbye.

Mattie!  Good guess Ima! Sorry if my last post came across as rude.  I hope you know where my rudeness was coming from though.  I have noticed that you were missing and I REALLY hope you'll post more.

@Ima- Oh, no, no, no...According to my parents, this site takes note of your computer's IP code.

Maybe I will post more=we'll see.

Byebye!

Oh, I see. I don't think it's ever been hacked before, though; has it, Admin? And I think it's about 4 years old... I'm pretty sure that almost all sites take note of IP addresses, including Google, and I'm sure the people at Cricket are careful. Have your parents seen the site? It seems like the sort of thing that would be much easier for them to understand if they did, although some people might not want them to.

Detc says bday! Is it his birthday?! That's conveniently easy to remember, the last day of June.

No. Our Web site has not been hacked.

Most if not all websites take your IP address. That's no reason to be paranoid.

Not this site being hacked.  Our family's computer!!!!!

And, yeah I know it's no reason to be paranoid, but remember I didn't make the decision--my parents did!

Oh, I know. But I'm not sure they would feel the same way if they knew that almost all websites did that.

Yeah...but I am or was the only person in family in my family who did any kind of social networking.  And I mean, there's some risk in almost everything you do online.. so yeah....
