I'm kinda new here, so I thought it would be a good idea to start this thread. It's for everybody that's new to meet each other and learn stuff about the Chatterbox.

TM- This Month
CC- Chirp at Cricket
BaB- Blab About Books
DtE- NOT Detroit Energy. Down to Earth.
PP- Pudding's Place
IW (or just I)- Inkwell
AND a way to find any thread with out going through pages and pages and PAGES of dead threads.
1. Go to Google.
2. Type in "cricketmagkids+"
3. Type the place (example: chirp at cricket)
4. Type the title (the one that only shows a little snippet of the text- this one would be "meet new chatterboxers")
5. Hit ENTER, and look through the text underneath the hyperlink to tell you if that's the right one.

Actually, it works better like this:
Cricketmagkids + chatterbox + [CATEGORY HERE] +NAME OF THREAD HERE
So this would be:
Cricketmagkids + chatterbox + [Chirp at Cricket] + Meet new Chatterboxers
Oh, and anything in asterisks (these things: ****) means it's an action. So, *facepalm* means you're hitting your face with your palm, and *sighs in irritation at facepalm overuse* means... well, you get it. :)

Also, you can't post links but you can post pics by copy and pasting them into posts.
The Google search tip is 99.99% safe. :)
Oh, and Spammy says to tell you 'zibw' (which rhymes into 'See you'. I'm pretty sure that means that he'll see you around the chatterbox. Another thing about Spammy is he's the best person at being totally RANDOM!

More Terms!
Squee: n. An expression of joy, happiness, excitement, and anticipation. Ex: "WritingWarrior was so happy upon hearing she had won the writing contest, she let out a 'squee'!" Plural: Squees
A Very Potter Musical: A parody-filled musical that includes boss Zefron posters and ridiculous quotes. And that's really all I know. Ask Mathilda or look for a thread for more info.
NaNoWriMo: A month long writing contest that takes place in November (National Novel Writing Month). Participants have November to write a novel that has a certain number of words. They also stay up late, get high on coffee, write other things to avoid their novel, and go insane. Ask ZNZ, Olive, SC, or find a thread for more info.
RP: Role Play. Each participant pretends to be a character, and then each of them write part of a story (not all at one time, though) from their POV (Point of View). When you put them all together, you get a really cool story told from lots of people's POVs. Which is usually interesting.
RR: Round Robin. Each person takes a turn writing a paragraph or so for a story. Then the next Chatterboxer who posts has to continue it. And then...well, you get the picture. These are also called Exquisite Corpses.
Dead Thread Revival Agency: Also known as DTRA. DTRA goes around and finds unique threads that are no longer at the top page (aka "dead"). They then TOP them (see the definition below) until their former glory is restored and they are back at the top. Members of DTRA are known as "agents" and have their own code names. TOP: To continually type "TOP" on a "dead" thread, or a variation that has to do with that. This usually propells threads to the top of their section.
