Hello Everybody,

Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Hello Everybody,

Hello Everybody,

I'm trying to find an old issue of Cricket Magazine for Children with a story called, Tale of a Tail. It was about a young king who bets his crown against a dragon's tail that he can beat the dragon at a game of shells. I believe the story was published in the fall (around Halloween) of '86 thru '90.

Does anybody remember this story and more importantly, does anybody know how I might find a copy of that issue?

Thanks a million in advance.

Chris

"Tale of a Tail" by Chris Conlee, appeared in the October 1990 Cricket. You might look for that issue at a library. You can email customerservice@caruspub.com or phone 1 800 821 0115 to ask if that issue is still for sale, but I doubt it will be. If you can't find the issue, you might send an email to cricket@cricketmagkids.com with your complete mailing address and someone from our editorial office would send you a photocopy of the story, as long as you don't plan to duplicate it or sell it.

I'll look for it in our huge collection of Crickets. I'll let you know if I find it!

P.S. I'm going to guess that it isn't just a coincidence that you have the same first name and last initial of the author.

If you DO have it and want to send it to Chris, send an email  to: cricket@cricketmagkids.com. Chris can send her address there. Yes, Chris is the author of the story.
