Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Yay! We had

Yay! We had science report that was due today! And we aren't marked seperately; we get a group mark! Because those are always really accurate! And we don't get a rubric! Perfect!

I was supposed to be emailed everything two nights ago so I could print it but one person decided, "Hey! Olive's still on MSN and it's 10 PM so I should email it to her in twenty minutes!" The second person was like, "I'll give it to her tomorrow." Which was totally fine because she worked really hard on it.

The third person was like, "Hey! I'm in charge of one of the most important parts so I'll just not do it at all!" So of course I wrote it for her which took half an hour that I could have spent SLEEPING, and she didn't even say anything today. But what she DID say to the second person was, "I want to do my own part!" And she said it today. On the day it was due. But she didn't bother to say anything to ME the person who did HER part instead I was supposed to go talk to HER.

So in total I did... about 5/8 of the report. The Analysis which 10PM did was a quarter of a page but the observations- second person- was three pages. I did the question, hypothesis (one page, 11 point font Calibri) and the conclusion (half a page) and I put it all together and made it pretty. All this. In. French.

Yeah. I'm really grumpy right now. And the third person who flaked out on us is also in our English group and demands to see the film that me and second person spent hours editing even though she did next to nothing!

Ugh. I hate stuff like that. This year we have to do a lot of group projects (mostly presentations) and I'm someone who likes to get stuff done as soon as possible and not at the last minute. So when we got the pages in our book that we have to sort of expand and talk about, I read them and sort of already wrote down ideas.Well our group met once (one person couldn't come) and nothing really happened.

Meeting 2: Person who didn't come last time didn't even bother reading the pages.

Meeting 3: Person still hasn't read the pages.

Plus I did most of the work because (1) they didn't understand what they were doing (2) they messed around a lot and (3) I don't want to say anything because it makes me feel bad and they're my friends. Yeah... So I hate group work because behind the scenes there's usually one person who researches, does the presentation and most of the other work while the others don't even know what we're supposed to present about. -.- I know that you're really upset, Olive. Like I said, I hate stuff like this. :)
