Has anyone ever heard his music before? I'm obsessed at the moment. He's this singer from the UK and I think he won on some competition once but I don't know. Anyway, I love his music especially The A Team (for those who haven't heard it, look it up now). :D Oh and there's another girl named Birdy who did a cover and also has a song called Skinny Love. That's also awesome. So have you heard of these people? And what do you think of them?

I love them both. I heard about Ed because Ron Weasley was in the video for Lego House. And Birdy is just amazing. Did you know she sang a song from the Hunger Games movie? It's called "It's Just a Game". My favourite songs by Birdy would have to be Skinny Love and Young Blood.

She did a song for The Hunger Games? I'm going to listen to it right now. I love that Birdy almost always plays the piano in her songs and her voice is really unique. It seems high and then low at the same time. Really beautiful.

It's free on iTunes in the U.S., so I'm getting A Team. If I don't like it, I'll delete it. Oh my gosh his voice is beautiful.
I love Birdy's song on the Hunger Games CD.
Wow, A Team sounds really pretty. I can't believe it's free. I would pay for it. OK, thanks for the recommendation.:)

I am absolutely obsessed with Birdy. I'm listening to People Help the People right now. Of course, it's not hers- it's by Cherry Ghost originally. It's so haunting. I love her version of White Winter Hymnal by the Fleet Foxes too. And Just A Game is absolutely exquisite. I wish she'd write more original songs though- she's got a lot of people ticked off at her for 'ruining' songs.
Her voice is so beautiful- that's for sure. So innocent, as only a girl can sing, and yet so old.

You guys should listen to Of Monsters and Men- the girl singer has one of those "rough and raw but soft" voices that I love. (AKA like Birdy and Brooke Waggoner) Listen to Yellow Light, Mountain Sound, Little Talks and King and Lionheart.

I'm listening to Little Talks right now! It's really awesome. She has a Birdy-like voice although it seems sort of different. I don't exactly know how. :) I listened to Brooke Waggoner but didn't really like the song I heard. I don't know why. :D
Yes, Birdy does cover a lot of songs. Does she even have a song that she wrote herself? I don't think it's that bad though. She sings every song in her own way. I think it's really unfair what people say about her though. I mean it's not like she "stole" the song.

On her YouTube channel for some of her videos i.e. People Help the People (which I'm listening to right now) and Skinny Love, she--or whoever's in charge of her channel--didn't credit Cherry Ghosts and Bon Iver as the original artists, but now there are credits.
Do you guys know Cold Specks? She's awesome! You should listen to her.

The only thing I know about him is that he and One Direction co-wrote a song called Moments. Pretty, but I don't know anything else about him.
