Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Heyy! I had

Heyy! I had a half day today! HURRAY! It was the end of the quarter. I couldn't come one the chatterbox yesterday! I went to ski club! FUNNNN! So now I guess I can't come on on Thursdays.... until a while from now!!!!! Ski club was AWESOME! But somethings didn't go so well....

The fist part went fine. I sat next to Jordyn (one of my very best friends!!!) and her sister Paige(Not Paige P!) sat across from us, and Maddy and Allie behind us on the bus. Maddy is popular, and used to be really good friends with Allie, and Allie is trying to be good friends still. But last year they weren't friends because Maddy was focusing on the other popular girls, and boys. So this year they're becoming pretty good friends. Maddy promised Allie that she wouldn't leave her, and would be with her the entire time. After we got on our boots, I starting skiing with Paige, Jordyn, Maddy, and Allie. Then Allie announced that she had to find her sister, then Paige said that they would do hard hills, and stuff like that. (Later, Allie told me she was angry at Paige because she knew when she said that, she was thinking that she was a really good skier JUST because she goes every week skiing, and that we were no good.) Allie said that she had to find her sister for her sisters lesson, so we tried to go to the place where she was supposed to be. (Maddy didn't come with us, even though she PROMISED to stay by Allie ever single minute. SO Allie wasn't happy about that.) When we went down the same hill three times, (going in circles!) we finally saw Maddy. Some other kids from our school showed us the way back to where Allie's sister was. But we didn't go see her sister because we spent so much time finding our way back! So we went back to the hill by where our bus was, and we saw Allie's sister on the chair lift! She told us she would be right down, so we waited at the bottom of the hill. Maddy said she had to go to the bathroom. We waited for 20 minutes! 20 MINUTES! And Maddy AND Allie's sister didn't come back! (but later we learned that Allie's sister thought her lesson was over, but it wasn't and her instructor wouldn't let her come down.) Allie got so angry at Maddy, when her sister's friend said she saw Maddy inside sitting down, so she marched inside, (me following, not so angry) and like Allie's sister's frinend said, Maddy had just finished dinner. Allie started yelling (a quite yell mostly though) at her, and telling her how angry she was, and Maddy said that she looked outside and didn't see us, and Allie said that we were in the same spot, and she was wearing a green coat and so on and so on. When Allie started walking away, I followed her. (Well, Maddy left me too!) and we just went skiing together. (and her sisters friends too!)

We went to the top of the hill, this girl from 6th grade (Not from our school) asked if she could hang out with us. We said sure, and she lead us to another place to eat. (we didn't know our way around really!) after we ate, Allie and I skied for a little bit, (the other girl had to go.) but right after dinner, when I was still getting on my skies, Allie had to leave because she saw her sister, and didn't tell me and started skiing off without me! I called her name, but didn't hear anything back (But she was saying, "I'll be right back!") I tried to get on my other ski, but I couldn't get it on! But Thankfully, Allie came back and told me why she left. I laughed and said it was Ok, and that she must be a great sister! So then we tried to find our way back to the place with the buses. Allie said that she really wanted to talk to Maddy, about last year and everything! She also told me that she was so happy I stayed with her the whole time, and that I was a good friend. Finally, we found where our buses were, and we took off our ski stuff and left. Allie talked to Maddy on the bus (I think) and learned the facts today!

Allie and Maddy are friends still!

What a long night, right?

Ahhh, skiing.  I know a Maddy (and the one on this site!!!!), but she spells it "Madi."  She's sooo sweet!  She's like the 8th grade version of C.!  I go to youth group (not the one I usually talk about!) with her! :D

Tell Paige that I, even though I'm a little better at skiing, stay behind and ski with my dad on the easier slopes (no offense, Dad!).  She should have stayed with you!

Oh, Paige, do you ski a lot? I think skiing is SOOOOOOO much fun! I went to Afton Alps! IT'S GREAT! Maddy doesn't know that all the people who like her aren't "true" friends. They only like her because she has nice clothes, great hair, and her eyes are so cute! (in a grown-up kind of way) They are big black eyes. I hope that when Maddy gets older she will have true friends! Not just people who like her for her stuff! And, Paige, I will tell Paige that! Paige is usually nice, but sometimes she can be a little, umm, er, *can't think of the word......* not mean exactly, but a little.... *thinks HARD!* I don't know.......
