What did everyone think about the Olympic opening ceremonies? 

My thoughts: I was not too impressed. Honestly, I thought the dancing and "concert" part of the ceremonies were corny. And the big baby? Errr....creepy.  Voldemort, was pretty cool, but also a little scary (in an un-voldemort way). However, I was glad that Harry Potter was a part of the ceremonies. And of course I was excited to see J.K. Rowling!

back to the Down to Earth

My favorite part was the lighting of the big flower thingy at the end. Paul McCartney was just annoying...and so was the "Queen-is-a-Bond-girl" thing. It's like, hello, this is the Queen of England we're talking about. She's supposed to be dignified! I also watched the 400 meter swimming race and was glad Michael Phelps got beaten. He has too big of a head already.

I liked the "June and Frankie say Thanks, Tim" part, because it had good music and it was a cute story.
