I've seen this at summer camp sometimes.  I never get to do it, though.  How do they put the containers in your area?  It sounds cool, but my dad's GPS is on his phone, and it doesn't work half the time.  Nyarsh.

Actually, anybody can hide geocaches. Except I don't know how to. You can probably find out how on its website.

I want to.  It sounds like fun!

@Gollum

From my understanding, other geocachers in the area set them out for other people to find.

I haven't tried geocaching yet, but I'd like to! It sounds interesting, and I actually know for a fact that a certain park I volunteer at at least twice nearly every week has some containers.

Geocaching is great!  My aunt is really into it and so I've done a bit with her.  I don't do it much on my own, but I'd love to do more.  I really love the exhilaration that comes along with finally finding a box after putting so much work into looking.  There's this one geocache that I pass by very often, since it's on a road I use frequently, and everytime I see the general area, I feel really great knowing that I found a little box there that not many other people know about. :)  I think it would be really fun to make my own geogache, but I have yet to do so.
