Hee hee, well, if you're looking for a church denomination, check out Catholicism!!  :):):) Because a lot of families like yours have found it to be the true faith. :)

I don't want to hurt anbuggy's feelings, but I'm an athiest!! I belive there is no god. I have no proof of god. So, I don't believe in god! As I said earlier, I don't want to hurt anybuggy's feelings, but when I read it, it felt like this thread had turned into a jesus love-fest. Just saying.

No offense at all. I was just wondering if you could explain how the world was created. Just wondering.

SURE!(bolded words are important)

Okay. Hundreds of billions of years ago, all matter in the universe was compressed into a tiny point. Then, suddenly, the mote expanded, creating space along with it. It didn't fill something up, because there was no "thing" to fill. If you are wondering what was before this, there wasn't. Time was created when the big bang happened. The subatomic particles formed atoms, hydrogen+helium, which formed the first stars, and a whole lot of dust. This dust clumped together, making planets. Earth is the one we live on today. Because there were so many planets for such a long time (a few million years), the chemicals on those planets began to for the first cells. The cells began to team up, working together, so they would have a greater chance of surviving. The cells specialized, and soon formed organisms. The lucky ones, or just plain better suited for their environments, passed their genes on, while the unlucky ones didn't. Because humans have many desirable traits, such as consciousness, survived and began to rule the land. Then, the rest is human history. (P.S. happy belated b-day!)

OOOOOK. Interesting. But what was the first cause? Who made "all the matter in the universe?"

No one made it. There was no 'before', so there wasn't any thing that 'created' it. There is proof of this! You can hear the 'echo' from when the light exploded outwards. Also, the other galaxies are spreading apart from one another, showing that the universe is expanding.

P.S. this might be one of my last posts here. My computer is having trouble loading this :,-(
