Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Has anyone noticed

Has anyone noticed how many sibling pairs there are on here? No offence to those who aren't one, but seriously! We have JDD and Daffodil, Melody and Bluefairy, Blackberry and Emma, Steve and Theo W., Butterfly and me, and even Red and Ruby M. as honarary ones (as they do know each other).

Have I skipped anyone?

I think it's cool that people are getting so many other people to go on!  Of course, I'm pretty sure I mention Blu more often then she posts, but she is on here.

Goop the world! And yeah, I think it's great I'm part of a sibling pair. Plus I just discovered that I can type without looking at the keyboard, though I need more practice doing so.

I've been trying for ages to get my younger to come on, because she actually reads Cricket too, but she won't. No, she's all like, "Let's watch another episode of Heroes!"

@JDD

I can do that too!  But I also need more practice!

My parents know NOTHING about my Internet friends. They found out about this British girl I'm talking to but that's it and they're fine with it but they said I should FaceTime her to see if she is who she says she is. This other person I was talking to, I thought she died (she's depressed) but then she talked to me yesterday, so I'm really happy. And it's my brother's birthday today and we had TARDIS cake June 15 (my dad made it, cuz he's awesome) and it was awesome. And bowtie and nerf guns and sparklers. It's 2am here so don't judge me... omg lowercase letters look so weird. There's this app where you can get different fonts and I was staring at a lowercase E for like 10 minutes trying to figure out if it looked like a normal lowercase e. And I told my friend, "My mom doesn't understand why I spend so much time on my iPod. She doesn't know about Instagram she doesn't know about the British people in my iPod," and my friend was like "Wait...what?" And I talked to the guy I like and he understood. June 6 the next to last day of school it was raining at recess and it was so awesome we were running around like maniacs the teachers FILMED us on their iPhones. Someone told Tiara my secret but she won't say who, because with Tiara it's all about getting even.

My mom has no idea about what I do on the internet.  She thinks that all I do is watch John Green videos.  That is highly incorrect.

My parents think all I do is go on Disney fansites and watch Disney videos and go on here and Twitter and Facebook and Figment and sometimes John/Hank Green videos.  Which is actually correct.  You guys are the only real internet friends I have that I haven't met face to face yet.  I think I have this cool internet life, while it mostly consists of writing, Disney, and basic social media.  So, yeah....

All I do on the Internet is go on here and Facebook and MuseBlog and read fanfiction and watch/listen to/read musicals and sometimes TV and vlogbrothers videos and read TV Tropes. And edit TV Tropes. Also books (read, not edit. I wish I could edit books without a degree or anything; that'd be cool). And Less Wrong. And sometimes fansites. And hey, I actually do sort of a lot.

My parents are aware of most of it, I think.

You're on Facebook? Do you know about the Cricket Chatterboxers Official* Facebook Group? It's really neat; you should join if you haven't already (although of course it's fine if you're concerned about privacy or just not interested).

*It isn't at all official; I don't know why it's called that.

You guys aren't my only Internet-only friends, but you (collectively) were the first.

I found that a while ago but it looked dead.  I shall ask my parents if joining is a possibility.

It... is kind of dead, but not completely, and hey it could come back to life sometime. For me, the main attraction was getting to talk to people who'd left the ChatterBox whom I missed.

My mother and father know that I go here and NaNo, but they don't really know what I do except for here.

My parents, well at least my mom, know of all the sites I go to. It mostly consists of Cricket, my email and NaNo.
