1. I just... taste it in my head. If I linger on it, I notice that the taste reminds me of an orange, ad since I'm thinking about an orange, I see one.

2. Blackness. Again, that's kind of boring, but I automatically sense everything I hear, and then I make associations--that's just sort of how I think. I think the next specific thing that comes to mind is the night sky.

3. I just feel it--I mean in a tactile sense--but out of context, I do start seeing something offwhite, lumpy, soft, and furry. Oh, now it's a dog. Now it's just the generic furriness again, and now it's paler and oh, it's cotton. Now my brain has moved on to other fluffy stuff.

4. This one is abstract, so I immediately see an actual thing other than the definition because examples are all there are to visualize, and I have to connect stuff to real sensations to understand it; it's an automatic response. Images of china dolls are flashing by; the first one was blurry, but if I look at it again and really try to focus on it, it looks like a female ballet dancer, wearing a pink leotard and tutu and ballet slippers, all painted, with painted brown hair in a bun and blue eyes and painted rouge and a painted smile. How much of that was there originally and how much my subconscious invented because I was expecting something more specific, I don't know.

5. The first thing I see is a crowd of people on a street all walking about in different directions looking determined to get where they're going.

6. I'm not sure whether the first thing I saw was the color blue or a calm, determined face (with brown hair and blue eyes again; I guess since I wrote that down, it's in my head now).

7. Um... I've been watching a lot of Star Trek: The Original Series lately... and yesterday, I saw "Who Mourns for Adonais"... where Captain Kirk told Apollo they'd outgrown the gods... and so the little I specifically remember of that scene started playing in my head (in very, very bad quality, of course, with lines heavily modified or skipped or delivered non-verbally depending on my memory).

8. A montage of eager faces started, but the first one was a little boy of about 12, I think... This one had brown eyes, I think, rather than blue. It's hard to tell; I didn't have much time to focus on it before the next image appeared.

9. Well, my brain is literal, so I have to say that I saw 2 acorns, and I started to see things I associated with acorns before reminding myself that nutty meant crazy, at which point "Who's Crazy" from Next to Normal and the images I associate with it started playing (and then sort of stopped because I forgot the lyrics, at which point other stuff came in).

10. The theme song from the cartoon Animaniacs started playing in my mind along with the visuals that go along with it. "We are the Animaniacs, and we're zany to the max..." You can look up a video if you want; it's a cool theme song.

11. I'm proud to say that The Hufflepuff badge from Pottermore was the first thing that came to mind.

...Okay, maybe I saw a greyhound first. I'm not sure; they flashed so quickly that I couldn't tell.

12. ...Slime. Green slime. And now a scene is forming around it... It's the Chamber of Secrets!

13. A plain, brown, homespun dress.

14. I just see...yellow. Same problem as "darkness." But now I'm watching Ron try to turn Scabbers yellow.

15. Again, I just... feel it, viscerally. Okay, now I'm seeing something, but it's just white and smooth and endless and therefore boring. Now it's shiny. Now I think it's a slab of mother-of-pearl. The trouble with trying to zoom in on things in your head is that they change on you--on me, anyway.
