Last night, I

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Last night, I

Last night, I had a dream about ya'll. It was a nightmare, actually, so I thought you all would like to know about it, so we can prevent it from happening in the future.

Okay, so it started out me and Melody and Blonde Heroines Rule and True all in my older brother's room on the Chatterbox together. Then I remember the screen went black and the lights went out. We thought it was a black-out. Then the computor screen started cracking and these weird, slimy things started slithering out and towards us. They were kind of like goopy, slimy centipeds (and believe me, I know what a centipede looks like. More than one time I found them in the shower.)

We ran out into the hallway, but their were too many of us and I fell down the stairs. I got up and the rest of you came down stairs too. The sky outside had gone black and it looked like we were in a thick black cloud. Then I realized it wasn't a cloud, it was a swarm of the weird centipede things. They could fly. Some of the other CBers stumbled into the room from the kitchen. The centipede thingys started pouring down the stairs and in through the windows. We all huddled in the middle of the room. They started swarming around us in big clouds. One of them bite me and blood started puring from my arm.

Then I woke up to my mum yelling, in German, that it was seven thirty and I needed to get up.

Have we ever written about weird, slimy, flying, centipedes in any RPs or RRs? What are they?

Creepy, right?

That is creepy! Was I freaking out? Cause in real life, I absolutely HATE centipedes! They are one of the single most vile, disgusting things ever to be seen by human eyes! That, and cockroaches, and spiders. And katydids. For the most part, I hate most bugs. But anyways, that is horrid! I couldn't have withstood it! And they bite?! Shoot me now!

But you're also not the first CBer to have a dream including other CBers. I haven't had one, but there were a couple of people who mentioned it not too long ago. I think there might have been a few during that murder mystery thread we had not too long ago.

And as far as I know, we've never had weird bug things in any of our RPs. At least not since I've been here, and I've been here for about a year. But I could be wrong.

Finally, YOU FIND CENTIPEDES IN YOUR SHOWER?! *shudders dramatically* I've had roaches, geckos (don't ask), and large, hairy, spiders in my bathroom, but never a centipede in the shower.

@ Blonde Heroines Rule

In our down-stairs bathroom, the whole room acts like a shower, and your always finding centipeds, spiders, crickets, beetles, potato bugs, and loads of other bugs in there. But mostly centipeds and spiders. Also in our bathtub on the same floor, we are always, always, always finding centipeds. They crawl out of the drain, just for you to find when you'r looking forward to a nice, relaxing bsth. Instead, you start screaming at the top of your lungs for one of you older brothers or your dad to take care of the monsterous thing in your bathtub. We also have a deep sink on that floor and you can somtimes come in the room hoping to wash your hands and instead find something waiting for you. Something with a lot of legs.

And yes, all of us were basically screaming our heads off.

That sounds like a scary dream! I never even saw a centipede before but they don't sound like something you want around. I also don't like bugs and just recently my mom and I had to squish a poisonous spider (okay she squished it, and I checked if it was alive). I would not know if there were any RRs or RPs like that because I don't really read (or do) any.

Have you ever thought about making your own dreams? Okay this is going to sound a little weird (maybe it is because I am so weird) but it could help. Before you go to bed think of a good dream that you would want to dream about. Then, when you go to sleep still think about that dream. There are two types of sleeping. First is deep sleep, second is not deep sleep. You will be thinking about this dream in the first not deep sleep (I don't know what it is really called). So, with that you will not dream during deep sleep (or you should not) and so you will only dream about your made up dream. That might sound confusing (it is to me sort of) but it is really simple. Think of a dream, and you will dream that dream, but with you controling it. So you can control what happens. This will make you sleep with no other dreams. You might lose control of your dream during deep sleep but it should still be good if the dream you made was good. Sorry if I make no sense. I try to do this every night and it works for me, minus the nights I don't do it. Well I hope nothing like that ever happens in your dreams again (or mine!)!

Whoa. That is seriously creepy. Centipedes? I don't think I've ever seen on in real life.

You dreamed about CB? Cool! What did we look like?

I think I dreamt about the CBers once a long long time ago, so I don't remember what happened, but I don't think it was a nightmare!

@Ashlee:

I know how you mean about controlling your own dream. If I am thinking about something when I'm really tired and I fall asleep right after, about 4 times out of 5 I have a dream involving what I thought about.

@ Corina: Ugh! *shudders even more dramatically than the last time* I just... can't ... ugh... *more shuddering* That's just awful. That's all I can say.

I either dream about what I'd just been thinking about, or what was in the back of my mind. That, or I dream about what will happen in the following days. Those thankfully, are fairly uneventful.

Some of you guys have never seen a real centipede before?! Lucky you!

@ Ashlee

Sometimes I do that. Usually that's when I dream about book characters. Like that dream I had about the polar bear from East and Twig from the Edge Chronciles. . . Or the one were I was carrying my sister's big pink octopus on my back while we were walking through a school full of book characters, in high heeled boots and pink Lolita dresses. Our blonde hair was longer too, and had pink highlights. I didn't know my sister had a pink octopus, though.

@ True

You had dark brown hair, amber eyes, tan skin, a bue t-shirt and jeans. Melody had, ahem this going to sound weird, but people in my dreams are weird, she had ankle-length black hair that kind of curled at the end, brown eyes, extemly pale skin and a short black and white Lolita dress, black fish-nets and knee height high-heeled white boots. For some reason, she didn't look out of place in my older brother's messy bedroom with the rest of us. BHR had loose blonde sausage curls, light blue eyes, a pink shirt and short tan skirt. And I had wavy blonde hair (self, you got the color right, not the wavyness, though) a blue shirt, blue eyes (duh), short blue skirt and white leggings. The others weren't there long enough for me to get a good look at them. I know Gollum was there, though, and she had red curly hair and green eyes and lots of freckles.

@ Kalyna

I've never woken up screaming. I've screamed in my sleep, though and had people tell me about it when I woke up.

Waking up screaming is the worst. You can't even tell it's you screaming at first. It's not pleasant.

I HAD ANKLE-LENGTH BLACK HAIR?!  Ohmigosh I love you.  I wish I had longer hair, but it just takes too much effort if I grow it out past my shoulders.  I've always wished I had black hair because I think it's pretty but I'm also happy being blonde.:)

Also, that is really creepy.  But, seeing as I have short blonde hair, I don't think it could happen in real life, so that's good.

I did have a dream about you guys once, but all I remember about it is that it had CBers in it.  I think TNÖ and maybe Red were there, along with some others.

I do speak a little German, but not enough to have a conversation with someone in it. I am currently learning more, though! I can say the alphabet and the seasons and stuff off the top of my head. And I can answer some questions in German. And I can understand when my mum yells at the top of her lungs that it's seven thirty. In my ear.

But, anyway, she comes form Germany. She grew up there on a farm with her three younger brothers. So she knows G and she's teching my siblings and me. So, yeah I do speak German/ A little. Do you?

I do speak German... probably enough to talk to a German kindergartener.  I take German 3 in school.  That's actually where I am now.  We had a little extra time on computers when we were looking up information on Jugendherbergen (youth hostels).
