Apple vs. Android

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Apple vs. Android

Apple vs. Android

iPhone ( 4s )  vs. Samsung Galaxy ( S3 )

This is the question of the century . Technology is being advanced further and further every day . As we speak in fact , technology is being created / advanced .

Apple , the creator of iPhone  , and Android , created by Google one of the largest companies in the world , are the phones in demand .

I'm writing a speech ( 5 minutes long . ) and I chose this topic . It seeeeeems to be the center of controversy ( other then Twitter vs. Facebook , but I'd rather not do those because I have nooo experience w. Twitter . And quite frankly , I don't even understand it ! ) .

Anyway , I like iPhone because it seems user-friendly . But , my main thing with them is converting all my music to iTunes , and having to buy almost everything from them . Also , you can't download from a 3rd party app or anything . Also , you can't take it apart and soak it in rice , or take out the battery when it's not working . I'm a technology guru ( wow , that sounded so lame . Oh my gosh . ) and I have  a lot of respect for Apple . But they are very expensive . An 8 GB is like $200 . And do you know how fast I eat up 8 gigs ?? This brings me to Android . I currently have an S3 , and I love it . The only thing for me that iPhone is better is the size . The Galaxy is HUGE . The brightness also doesn't go down as low as I wish it would .

But as for the operating system , my preference would by far be Android . I almost got an iPhone , but the Galaxy was much less expensive ( free , actually ) so I got it . And I'm glad I did . I can customise the text-background and the font without having to download a third-party app . Also , I not only have Google Play apps and music , but also the Samsung apps and music . The camera is better on the S2 and S3 than on the iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 . The Galaxy seems to run faster , but that's probably because we have wifi , 4g , and fast mobile-internet .

Some pros of iPhone would be ... the cases . They have some of the cutest cases . The size . The iPhone is literally the ideal size for me at least . Built-in Facetime on all Apple products . I wish Samsung had that . Siri . She's awsome .  Panorama camera .  Screenshot .

Some cons would be ... having to convert all my music to iTunes , and having to buy it all . Also , not being able to put in an SD card . Not being able to take it apart for whatever reason . Not being able to customize the background ( well , you may be able to do that on the newer iPhones , but I don't know . All my friends have the 3's and 4's ) .  They break easy , because of the glass . The chargers aren't standard so you have to have the special iPhone charger .

Some pros for Galaxy would be ... the size . Yes , it's huge , but that's great for movies and tv and videos . The camera . The camera is amazing . As good as my $300 camera . The apps . There's Samsung and Google Play , so there's twice the apps than on iPhone . Being able to take it apart . Being able to insert an SD card . They're plastic , and not as fragile as iPhones ( well , the 5C and 5 & 5S aren't glass , but whatever ) . Amazing features such as panorama . Can customise the text background & font . Standart charger . Being able to download music and pictures . Screenshot .

Some cons for Galaxy would be ... the size . It can be a blessing and a curse . It's huge . S Voice . That sucks . Doesn't work . Not fun at all . Cases . Putting cases on the Galaxies just makes them absurdly large .

So , there are not as much cons for the Galaxies as are for iPhone . Could just be me . I'm now a die-hard Galaxy lover .

So pleaase iPhone owners and Android or Galaxy owners , debate ! It's a whole 5 minutes ! Thanks so much .

I have a galaxy q, my mom has I think an s4. My mom HATES her phone. Mine is ok. Both phones take up a lot of battery, esp when u go on the internet. It's really annoying bc it's like, you have 4 out of 5 bars, and then in 15 minutes it goes to critically low battery.

However, with Apple, everything has to connect to everything else and then there's the whole update thing. You get sucked into iworld!
