Chatterbox: Down to Earth

A Sad/True Story

A Sad/True Story

I came to Not Back To School Camp ready for awesomeness. I wasn't ready for a little unawesomeness.

The first day, I met a girl and a boy during lunch or dinner, I forget which. The girl's name was Abby, the boy's Caleb. Caleb was a nerd. A cool nerd. We got together in the interest of getting a plan together to get everyone singing "We Will Rock You" at breakfast.

Our meeting that night to do it somehow got a bunch of other people, and also, somehow, became a hangout. Or maybe it was always a hangout plan that night and I'm getting mixed up.

Admin! Why was this published unedited, then Red's reply deleted and the thread edited? You know what? Delete the thread, and tell me in the next post of mine you see why the thread was edited and what Red said that prompted you to do so.

The game/theme is inappropriate for CB.

Oh, don't worry, I didn't have anything enlightening to say. I said something along the lines of "Whoa, that must have been really awkward! Was she avoiding you afterwards?"

Well, since you've read the uncut version, Red... not super awkward. Truth be told, it didn't get very awkward until she noticed I was following her around all over the place, on account of liking her a lot. She seemed to understand, but it kinda went downhill from there anyway... but since teen romance seems to be against the rules down here... I won't say here. Tell you what, Red. Google me. Once you find me (it shouldn't be hard) contact me on another website and I'll tell all there in a message of some sort to you.

Man. You have a way deeper voice than I imagined. I am totally in awe of your manly voice.

Red, you've been on his blog, listening to his podcasts. *high fives* :) I think it's so exciting to hear what a Chatterbox sounds like!!!

Hey, Joe! You like to sing. You should sing Song for 10, performed by Neil Hannon. It's a Doctor Who song, about the 10th Doctor to a former companion. Very sad but nice. I couldn't help but think you'd be good at this song.

Joe, I know your Twitter from that time Rick Riordan tweeted you.  If you still use it, I'll send you a message so you know who I am and any time there's something you can't post here, just Tweet me.:)
