That's a really pretty pen name. I also have a weird one: Violet Bass. I imagine my bio in the back of the book consisting entirely of "Violet Bass is not a purple fish..."

My family does. It's a gift to young girls/women usually from their fathers as a promise to keep their mind, heart, and body pure until the time that she find the young man God intended for her. You're to wear it until it is replaced by your wedding ring. My family also believes in courtship, or dating with a purpose.
