Beaches. Who likes

Beaches. Who likes beaches? I'm a fan for one, but it annoys me how many people just toss their trash on the ground and leave. Especially those plastic chip bags, they're everywhere!

*gasp* WHICH ONE?!??!?!  Old Orchard Beach?????  Or, maybe, ohhhhh, Miss Bad Memory For Names can't think of the rest.... :):) Which one, though??!?

We live very, very, close to the beach. We used to be able to walk there. And let me tell you, it's not all its cracked up to be. I mean, I love it, but tourists who come because they're fantasizing about sunny beaches and swimming in the ocean should know that OUR beaches are usually cold and the ocean is even colder. 

But beaches are awesome, and being able to walk there was a definite plus to our old house.

I never go to beaches! :'( The last time I've ever been on a REAL beach was at the Del Coronado kind of near San Diego. And that was in 5th grade! 2 years ago! I miss that time so much! Now I just go up to my cabin during the summer. My lakes beach always get covered in MUCK! EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Aww, poor you!!!  Well, don't feel too bad, I doubt most people on here who have beaches have ocean beaches.  I do, but really, just like some people want to see the ocean, I want to see the Great Lakes!!!  :)

WAHHH!!!  I LOVE BEACHES!!!!  But we don't have any where I live!!!  Boo-hooo!!!! :(:(:( Just some around lakes, and they're usually crawling with bugs. :(

Poor you, also!!!  Seriously, you all should come to California!!!!  I'm not kidding!! The weather is great, Cali is great!!!!  :D :D :D :D  And you really have to see San Francisco!!  I'll give you a personal tour for free!!!!!! :D :D :D :D

Beaches are okay, but in FL they're usually crowded with tourists and super hot. Plus going to the beach for my family is an all-day excursion - getting on bathing suits, sunscreen, packing our chairs and beach toys, driving there, setting up our canopy, then at the end, packing everything up, rinsing off all the sand, and getting changed out of our wet bathing suits. I agree about the littering, though. It's so awful!

True, but I went to a beach in Jacksonville (ahhhh....) in April on a cloudy day, and NOBUGGY was there!! It was AWESOME!!!!  The water was warm (or, at least to a Mainah'...), too!!!!  It was GREAT!
