We got four

We got four baby chicks today!! They are so cute!!! Has anyone else have chickens for pets?

Not pets, but I have had some pretty adorable chicks that grew up to be egg layers! 25 to be exact, but only 20 made it untill now (maybe 18 months later, dealing with some pretty rough winters). Good luck!

That is really cool!  My friend has a ton of chickens, and he just gave us a dozen.  They were really pretty!

Cool!!! We have several chickens now and had more in the past; we also have ducks and guinea hens. We once had a pet turkey.

What kind are they?

2 Ameraucanas and 2 Rhode Island Reds. Only 2 of them like to be petted.
