RECIPES!

The Inkwell might not be the best place to post this, but I have no idea where the best place actually is, so...why not?

Anyway, I'm always looking for awesome recipes, so I thought, hey, maybe you guys have some! So, if you have any really good recipes for pretty much anything, I'd love to have them.

Just a quick side note - I can't eat gluten (wheat), so the recipes I post here will be gluten-free.

But this thread isn't just for me, it's for all of us! So post any recipes you like and we can all try them out!

I'll post some later, but I want to see what you guys do first.

I can't wait to see all of the recipes you have!

Oh, I forgot to ask you Nora. Have you checked out the Sneaky Chef yet? I'd give you the website address, but I think the Admins have an issue with it, because they took it off when I tried to put it before.

We actually don't post addresses for any websites over which we have no control, with the exception of NaNo and maybe one or two other very reputable sites.

Here is a recipe I tried out today (by myself!!), and even though they ended out a little burnt, they are delicious.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Makes about 24 servings.

Ingredients:

-1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons butter, softened

-1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons white sugar

-1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar

-1 egg

-1/2 cup and 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

-1/2 teaspoon baking soda

-1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

-1/4 teaspoon salt

-1 1/3 cups rolled oats

-1/2 cup raisins

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C)

2. In large bowl, cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs and vanilla until fluffy. Stir together (in a separate bowl) flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually beat into butter mixture. Stir in oats and raisins. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets

3. Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown. Cool slightl, remove from sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.

Enjoy!!

BEST SALSA EVER!

3 red tomatoes

3 green tomatoes

1 bunch of scallions

10 cloves of garlic

1 bunch of cilantro

1 red pepper

And then you just chop them up and throw them in a bowl and then go get some chips.

I'm not much of a chef, but if you can use a knife this is easy!
