Pot Luck

Our church has a lame pot luck. I went to it today, and seriously, it was boiled hotdogs, three pots of dry spaghetti with nasty meatballs, fried chicken (no, I like fried chicken, but it was gone) and rolls. And Caesar salad. And the salad my mom brought was ruined, because they put Caesar dressing on it without consulting her and it had GRAPES and spinach in it, and she had even brought her own other dressing! That was all there was, minus dessert. I mean, normally they have stuff like tater-tot and green bean casserole, so it wasn't that unusual, but still. I doubt anyone there eats like that at home. Food is important! Sometimes it seems like we're the only ones who bring edible stuff. :-b

Oh, sorry! :(:(:( I'm going to a church casserole auction on Saturday, but the food is normally good. :):) (It's sort of scary, though...  My 'friend's' dad and my youth leader always dress up like, well, really random people, and act like them while they sell the casseroles....  Let's just say that SoGoBap has been visited by, *sigh*, Elvis, the Pillsbury Dough Boy, and a bunch more....  Oh, I'm SO scared to see what Mr. B. will be this year.. :-\  (Really, though, I feel bad for his daughter! :D)

Ha ha ha!  I forgot that my mom made up something to auction, the year that Mr. B. was dressed up like Elvis.  She, (ha ha ha), auctioned him to go to Hannaford (the grocery store) in his outfit!!!!! :D:D:D:D My poooor 'friend' and the youth leader (she's a girl) had to go with him and take pictures.....  Poor Emily... :):):):)

LOL! I know exactly what you mean! I just like them because I get to stay at church longer with my friends.
