Bullying

I thought of starting a thread where we can discuss a time you were bullied or you bullied someone.

When I was in second grade, I came back from Jordan, and I was starting a private school. It was my first day, and I was super nervous. So I was sitting in the classroom at the very back, and I didn't know anyone. This girl named Fartoon (I still can't belive her name) turned around and asked if she oculd use my pencil. I gave mine to her. The teacher walked in and told us to write something, and I whispered to Fartoon for my pencil. She didn't answer. Instead, she put her hands under her desk and snapped the pencil in half.

Tears welled in my eyes. That pencil was a gift from my grandma, and it was really special to me. I raised my trembling hand. "Fartoon broke my pencil," I said. The teacher gasped. "Fartoon!" She sent her to the office.

For half of the year, I was terrorized from her. She would call me names, and I always avoided her. But in the middle of the year, she got expelled for bullying other kids. I've heard rumors that I think would be inappropriate to post here. To this day, she gives me nightmares.

Och. I don't think I've had that problem, really, but in about 2nd grade or so everyone was pretending their friends were bullies so they could get their way. My school is so anti-bully it's almost funny that it goes to that whole pretending-your-friend-is-a-bully thing. Hehe. Go figure, teachers.
