Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Wow! I was

Wow!

I was looking at all of the dead threads on all of the forums, and oh my GOODNESS. I'm 15, and I've been on here since I was *10* !!!

I've changed sooo much! My grammar definitely (sp?) has improved DRAMATICALLY! And, I've matured a lot.  I've gone through way too much in the last five years, and you can definitley tell.  I still thought boys were gross when I first joined, lol! And now, I've been in a relationship on and off for almost 3 years! Wow!

Has anyone else had this experience? I don't know how many of you have been here for a long period of time, but if you have, I'd love to hear how much you've changed!

Well, I haven't been here for a long period of time, maybe 5 months or so but I've definitely changed in the past few years. I used to be sooooo shy, had one  freind and was extremely awkward with my conversations. But now I'm a lot more confident and have like three friends. Yeah that sounds bad but where I am I only have the option of three friends.

@Forrest  Lol , I understand . I was always shy , but I've always had a lot of friends . It wasn't until about 2012/13 i broke out of the curse of shyness.

Hey, Vida. I have a question: Is Vida pronounced with a short 'I' for the 'I' or a long 'e'? Just want make sure I say it right.

Oh my gosh, yes! My first post, when I was nine (ten within the month) was about a book I had read, kinda copying a bit out of a bad review I had read. My second was to this SI. Like many others, I made the mistake of putting my correct name in the name box.

I have changed a lot. I was nine when I came on. Now, I'm thirteen. My writing has changed, whether for the better or worse, I don't know. But I've changed a lot from when I first posted. My interests, my way of posting. I was quiet when I first came on, always thinking myself to ruin the conversation whenerver I posted. Now, I'm a lot more openly spoken, both IRL and online. I used to be always asking questions. Now, I'm answering them. And, as a matter of fact, I don't really like to be on the asking side of the questions anymore, for some reason. Or, any questions that don't have to do with school.

But I've always seemed to be that quiet girl who doesn't want to be a bother. That hasn't changed yet.

I understand that.  What really helped me stop being that quiet girl is my youth group.  I mean, I've always kind of been loud and stuff, but that was only to those I was 110% comfortable with.  Now, I'm still bit of that girl, I have no problem giving my input in a group setting.

You just need to find a group of friends that won't judge you, they'll judge with you, and won't laugh at you, they'll laugh with you. :)

This is the reason I love the CB, you can always find someone who understands.:)

I was 11, or perhaps just turning 12 when I first joined. Now I'm 14. I've changed A LOT too - I used to be really awkward and embarassing and...wait. I'm still awkward and embarassing. Bad example.

Okay, well I've changed. My writing has improved greatly, and I'm still a really strong reader. I read at a college level and I'm a freshman in high school, so that's good, especially since I was at only about a high school level just last year.

I'm still the loud and quirky girl I was three years ago, but I've definitely changed.
