Chatterbox: Down to Earth

So I was

So I was about to make a Down to Earth post and I read the little thing that says "Click here to talk about the world around".  Well currently the world around me hurts really badly since I just went sledding and slammed my foot into a tree. Ow. I'm stuck on a couch cuz walking hurts. Ice packs are colder than you'd think. Not that I can feel anything. Still can't. Ow.

I hope your foot is better soon. If not, you should probably go to a doctor and have it xrayed.

My mom said we can go to the doctor tomorrow if it still hurts.

Good idea. I fell in October. My wrist was swollen. After two days, two nurse friends told me I had to go to the Care Today clinic. I was diagnosed with a broken wrist and put in a brace for five weeks. I had thought it would just get better on its own in a few days.

I'm sorry:( I just went sledding also, I didn't get anything serious though, just bruised shoulders, knees, and and tailbone. Never go over ramps, even if your cousins tell you to.

Hope you feel better!

Last winter, I was sledding and *CRASH* right into a cement wall! My lip was split open. In half. Couldn't eat. Or drink. Or talk. "Muhpfff. Ow." Was all I could say. I have a fear of sledding now. I may never sled again.

It's the lack of control that can be scary. I always like to feel like I'm in control. I enjoy skiing, but very carefully! Not on ice.

We go to Wintergreen in the mountains a lot, and we invited our friends to come with us around Thanksgiving, so there were like five kids in the house. Anyway,we all went sledding at another friend's house, and they lived right by the ski slopes. So I was sledding, and the first time, I slammed into rocks. The second time, I ran into a tree because there was like a suction that would zip you toward the trees if you didn't start away from it. The third time, I avoided the suction path but almost hurtled out into the ski slopes!
