Goodbye. That is

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Goodbye. That is

Goodbye. That is to say, Au revoir.

I really don't quite know how to say all this, but I've been planning on leaving the CB for a while: for one thing, I'm going to college in the fall and won't have much time for this kind of thing, and for another, I keep feeling that the CB has steadily been changing, and that I don't really fit in with it anymore. I still really appreciate it for what it has given me in the 3 years I've posted here, but it's not the same, and I feel the more I come, the more I'm reminded of how it used to be.

That's not to say I have anything against the new things about it or the people. It's just that I feel like one of the last survivors of some era. So many of the people who've been my friends and fellow posters ever since I've come are slowly leaving, and it's a little lonely being among the last.

I will still post on here when I can (there's a new Internet ban on at my house anyway, so I can't even go online much at all), but I don't know how often. Anyway, I just wanted to give you all a heads-up in case I suddenly disappear for good one day.

Thank you.

P.S. That sounded extremely melodramatic, and I'm sorry. But it does feel like a moving occasion, saying farewell to such an important part of my life, and I don't know how I could do it sufficiently.

You will be remembered fondly, Everinne, as are other Chatterboxers who have grown up and moved on. But remember you can check in with us at any time and let us know how you're doing.

Oh, too bad. I'll always miss fangirling with you about Robin Mckinley. I wish I could have been here longer, gotten to know you better. I hope college works out for you.

Forward: This entire post is going to sound dramatic, but it's true.

I know none of us will change your mind, so I won't protest, and I completely understand your logic, but that doesn't mean we'll all won't miss you.

I agree with Savvy, and PLEASE post every once in a while so we can know how you're doing.

We'll miss you so much, and we'll remember you in all of our threads.

Cappie says dkyu. Miss you? Yeah, me too Cappie.

I'm going to miss you so much Everinne! I know how you feel and have thought about leaving. I don't know if I'll actually officially leave, or just come on less and less often. Reading your post made me really miss the old days and all the people who have left. Nothing against the new people, but I don't really know them, and all the old people were my friends. Anyway, you will be greatly missed. You've been a great friend, and I've had so much fun talking to you over the past few years!

Are you going to leave too, Ivy?

I've been thinking about this for a long time, and I'll say it now.

I know most of you guys think of me as a newbie, but believe me, I learn fast and I have already read through the back pages, and I feel like I know all the oldies like you do. Everinne, I know just how you feel. It's a feeling like the one you get when you look through a photo album of you when you were little. It's a sad feeling, as you stare at yourself smiling without a care in the world, and you wish, just for an instant, that you  could have those happy times back again, before you had all those worries, and before your world changed. I noticed, while reading the old posts, that we CB-ers used to be more, well, serious, and we could talk about things freely without getting on each other's nerves. I can especially connect with Red & Ruby, because I, too, have another person in my body, whom I see quite vividly, and who is like a sister to me. (I don't have a sister.) Goodbye, dear, dear, Everinne, and may you have many good experiences in the future. Never forget, that all of us here at the CB love and will miss you always. =)

Oh dear...

Well, goodbye Everinne... You will be greatly missed!

I'm not going to keep talking/typing, because what could I say? But one last thing:

*lights a firework, letting it shoot up into the sky, forming this message, surrounded by stars: Goodbye Everinne...*

I cannot tell you all how touched and moved I am by all of your well-wishes and understanding--I just started crying now! But don't worry; I'll definitely keep trying to post every now and then: I won't abandon the CB forever! That's why I said au revoir--until we meet again.

I have to admit, I cry lots. But it's usually when I get hurt or get a bad grade. Not really touchy-feely stuff like this. But you guys made me cry.
