I know right?? I have them too, and here in California, it's a STATE LAW that all schools should do it!! I homeschool, but with an online curriculum that requires SBAC. It strains my eyes!! I want paper tests again!!

OF COURSE!! I actually homeschool with k12, an online curriculum, that provides all the supplies so that it is basically an online public school. We have online classes and such, a Student Council, teachers that we meet every month, testing, and basically everything a real school has except that it is online!! However, we have workbooks and all that too, so it is also part offline. Also, you are allowed to skip grades, and I am part in 7th, and part in 6th. I meet homeschooling friends every week, so there is no social problem, either. T_T We have a "Biking Club", where the boys ride around, and us girls chat and run around and stuff. My homeschooling life is wonderful!! In fact, we even have field trips now and then, and graduation parties at the end of the year, so we don't miss ANYTHING. I am utterly contented with it, and don't ask for anything more. =)

WHAT!

My teacher kept droning on about Common Core, but I'm not sure if I really believed it. We have the SBAC tests too! And the browser is BUGGY and standardized testing is STUPID and I HATE it.

But we did have CRTs for science.

PSSAs are over, dudes! I like them though because you get food and no homework and fun! Yay! And there were 5 stories from Cricket in there. And none of the hard stuff was on there. I love standardized tests! <--------------The words of a nerdy weirdo.

Oh, and my exciting May stuff. Jr. High orientation tomorrow! Taylor Swift goes on tour tomorrow! Stampy's 300th Lovely World vid comes out Wed! Memorial Day at an amazing campground! More Jr. Hgh. stuff on the 13th! Taylor Swift's new music video will probably come out the same day! Going to Washington D.C. on the 14th (who lives close? I'll be in a school group with ugly T-Shirts and ugly hats, have red sunglasses, be with a bunch of chaperones, have the cutest shirt since it will look different than anybody else, probably have Ellie CB on the back of my shirt, and I'll be awesome. Do not talk to me. Maybe wave. Tell me who waved at me on here. Anyway, back to my May-ness.), and that May be it. Get it? Sorry, that pun was bad.

In Vermont, it's required. Ugh. I love paper tests. SBAC, my mind just cancels cuz of the bright screen. I do love the environment, but...

We started our SBAC yesterday :| :| :|.

I also wish that we had paper tests, they're way easier! Online tests are confusing: you never know if you're deleting your work forever, or if you're just going to the next page.

Although, we're lucky, because our SBAC is about "The American West", and we get to write a narrative story about cowboys.

After that, though, we have to do our math SBAC, and that one is SOOO boring.

I HATE tests.

We get to write a narrative about horses. Well at least we get gum during testing.
