Chatterbox: Down to Earth

This is really

This is really random!!!!  Nobuggy even has to post here, but I just randomly felt like pasting thing!!! :D I sent an e-mail to my friend who moved to Costa Rica at the beginning of 2008, then moved to Guatemala in the beginning of 2009.  Here it is:

Abbie~
Is this your right e-mail??  I feel like you got a new one, but ever since I changed my e-mail, I lost everyone else's... Yeah... So anyway, I hope that this is the right one!!!!  If not, then I'm obviously wasting ten minutes of my life... Blah, blah, blah... :-) :-)
What's up?!  How's life in Guatemala?!  Is it really, really, really hot???  Maine is average right now... Actually, it's, ummm, hold on....  Okay, I'm back.  It's 33 degrees out, without a cloud in the sky!!  The snow has been melting, but last night we had this crazy freeze thingy (I forgot what it's called...) that turned everything into pure ice... :-( :-( I guess that I'll just have to wait for the warmer weather...
My friends and I are already going crazy just thinking about camp...  Ahhhh......  We CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!  AHHH!!!!!! :-D :-D
Hillary and Lindsey (you know, from camp) are both going to be acting in a movie coming up.  Sadly, I won't be able to see it, sigh, because it's rated 'R'. Hmmm....
I go to a different church now, if you didn't know.  It's about five minutes away from my house.  One of my best friends goes there, so that's sort of nice, but I still miss all of my [other church's name] friends...  My church's youth group is REALLY small, with just my best friends!  It's fun!!!!!!!  Unfortunately, one of them moved to California on Feb. 28.  I threw her a good-by party, which was really, really fun!!!! :-D :-D But we do miss her....
Before she moved, our youth group was supposed to go snow tubing, but it ended up getting canceled because it was too cold (weird...), so we went to my youth leader's house (she's really awesome!).  After getting bored of playing Wii Bowling for two hours, I went over to the piano, and started looking at my youth leader's daughter's books.  I saw a Christian songbook, and it had "The Days of Elijah" in it!!!! (camp classic, duhhh) Most of the kids in the youth group have gone to camp at least once, so they started to sing along, while I played.  Surprisingly, we sounded pretty good!  So, we asked my youth leader if we could sing in church, and she said yes!!!  So in mid-January, all of us sang in church, went to IHOP for lunch, and then went swimming in an outdoor (heated, obviously) pool.  It was SO much fun!!!!!! :-D :-D I don't think that you'd know anyone there, except me, and you might know Carly and Izzie... Maybe... :-)
My mom and I went down to Florida for five or so days, because we saw plane tickets for an amazing price.  We went to Disney World, an Orlando Magic basketball game (the BEST TEAM EVER!!!!), and Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo.  It was about the best trip I've ever been on!!! :-D
I went snow tubing with another youth group I go to.  It was pretty amazing. :-) I don't think that you'd know anyone there, except, ummmm, you might know Madi from camp... Maybe... :-)
Nothing else interesting has happened... Ummmm, oh.  My parakeet B.B. (the blue boy) died two days before Christmas... :-( :-( And he was the nicer of the two... :-(
Sorry for writing so much!!!!!  I MISS YOU!!!!!!!!!

Yeah....I have a Pen Pal too! Her name is Alyssa, nicknamed Aly. And she hasn't replied to my latest letter! (which, btw, was sent about two months ago.)

We used to go to the same school, then I moved and we became Pen Pals!

But (yay) we still see each other once a year!

Oh, right, she lives in South Carolina.

As does my twin brother Franta.

And our little brother Andrew aka Ondra.

And Aly's little sisters.

And my friend Meg used to live there then she moved to North Carolina.........

I sometimes do pen-paling with my cousins, and when they don't answer me, I get really impatient. :( Sometimes, it's because they're too busy, or they didn't get the letter, or they forgot, or (the one that bugs me) they can't find a stamp. So, sometimes, I just send them a really short letter, maybe only one paragraph long, and it reminds them that I sent one earlier.

Then, it still always took forever because they could find an envelope, or a stamp, or even paper, so I started sending a piece of stationary and an envelope with my address and a stamp, and they answer me right away. They always thank me a lot, because sometimes it's just those little things that set them behind. :)

I couldn't find a better way of putting that, so it might sound kind of dumb.

(my endless cold {or what ever it is} has taken a turn for the worse again, and now I have a sore throat again, so I'm kinda groggy {or just plain mad})

Cool!

Paige: I went on a site called Viva!  They have a really cool pen pal service, and I think it's an English site, so most people there are from England as well!  I got the site from a book by Ingrid Newkirk, the founder of PETA. :)

Ohh! I have a pen pal (well... Now she's my email pal) and we have been pen pals since 4th grade! Yayay! We enjoy talking about our different states. She's from Nebraska! (It's funny how close we are, and still haven't met each other...)
