Woohoo! Wow, I just learn them in tens. 3 every other day seems tougher because you have less time to practice... Kudos to you!

60 digits!

π ≈ 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399375105280974944

If you have a Mac, there is an easy way to type pi. Just press OPTION and the P key at the same time (Capital P or lowercase p is fine, they are both accepted versions of pi, OPTION P is the greek letter--it has capitals too. Apple used that for one of the key options so that it would be easier for mathematicians). If you don't have a Mac, test OPTION P on whatever computer you do have and tell me if you get pi.

Guess what the world record is for most digits of pi calculated on a computer? 62.8 trillion digits! Wow, must have taken a while for the computers to calculate it. The feat was acheived by Swiss scientists, beating the previous record. The previous record was 31,415,926,535,897 digits and it was achieved by Emma Haruka Iwao, a Google employee, who ran (I don't know how many) computers over 121 days on March 14, 2019 to achieve the record.
