Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Well, I was

Well, I was reading about parrots, and I began wondering if anybuggy had any birds of any sort that they could answer some questions about... I love love love research, and I'm probably not going to get a parrot or any kind of bird because I have a lot of animals already, but I want to know from the actual, real-live owners, what it's like having a bird!

Chip says "coda" Yup, coda, whatever that is.

Does anybody wish they had a bird? I do.

Chip says, "xkno". Ya know, he said book the other day. No kidding!

My neighbor has two parakeets, but I don't really know anything about them.

We used to have four parakeets. They were messy and loud and mean. We tried to tame then, and gave up. And then they died. No one mourned them.

We do have five chickens as of the moment, they're a lot nicer then those parakeets.

Go chickens! Woohoo! I Heart Chickens! One of my favorite birds! I'll always like chickens, even if I grow up and don't get any.

omg... heart chickens... CHICKEN HEART (a truly scary story)
but srsly i agree chickens are awesome! when i was younger, our neighbor kept some chickens in her side yard (even though its illegal to keep chickens in our city.. heheh...) and my brother and i would take vegetable scraps over to feed them, or dig up worms and feed those to the chickens. sometimes the neighbor would give us eggs.
unfortunately, a racoon attacked them and they died.

I will love chickens till forever

Very sweet ground birds; they'd never

Bump over the feed bucket, oh no!

Except when they're bored and they just want to go [outside]

Enter the coop and you'll see

Not a scrap of clean bedding

('Course, chickens are known for bed-wetting)

And their chicks, they're just fluff:

Peeping, and as soft as that Truffula stuff!

That is why I looove those chickens that bawk,

Urgle down water, and scratch, and gawk

Read on, dear CBers, to see two last lines

Ending and beginning a new little vine [thread]

Dedicated to...chickens! And how they, um, shine.
