Alan Rickman!
Can we pause for a moment for a quick tribute to this amazing man?

Today, January 14, 2016, the only and absolute best actor of Severus Snape died of cancer. May he rest in peace.

Amen.

Indeed. Remembering him with quotes:

"Clearly, fame isn't everything, is it, Mr. Potter?"

************

"Talent is an accident of genes -- and a responsibility."

************

"Turn to page 394."

************

"I do take my work seriously and the way to do that is not to take yourself too seriously."

************

(Snape produces a doe Patronus)

Dumbledore: "Lily...after all this time?"

Snape: "Always."

*salutes* To Snape!

Also, he was a perfectly amazing Sherrif of Nottingham in Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves (which I covered by eyes for half of).

When I heard of his death I was basically crying. Rest in peace, Alan. He was one of the best actors to walk on earth. It's so sad that he lost his battle to cancer.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaahwawwwwwwwaaaaaaaahwaaaaaaaaaaa! I didn't know he just died! He was so awesome in the Harry Potter movies. I also didn't know he was in Prince of Thieves. I also covered my eyes for most of it. Like that part where they cut off the man's hand. Bleah. Goodbye, Alan. May you rest in peace. *bursts into tears*

We're watching the movie in History (also reading Roger Lancelyn Green's book). The teacher skips the most gory bits but sometimes he doesn't move fast enough—AAAAGH!

Oh my gosh I love that quote. But I agree, it is sad. Rest in peace, Alan Rickman.

That is even sadder than listening to Steve Job's commencement speech.

"I recovered from the cancer and I hope to lead a long, happy life..."

My CAPATCHA says hbda. I think she's crying.
