Pets.

This is where you can post about all the pets you've ever owned. And if you've owned one.... and lost one.... than you also know that some pets.... are more than pets. They're family sometimes. You can post about goldfish you've had. Dogs you've had. cats you've had. Any pet you've ever had and loved. If they're dead, you can still post about them. I they're alive, post about them. Any memeories or feelings you've had around pets, you can put it here. You can rant about pets. You can even talk/type about them. Anything about pets.... put here. And to close this RP's opening, here is my singature.

Moonfrost, I think you meant "Dachsund." Micearenice- that's a lot of pets! Especially mice. It's cute that you named so many of them and gave them such unique names!

I as well have a leopard gecko named Lizzy (even less creative). It's "hibernating" right now. It still comes out occasionally, but for the most part stays in its cave and looks dead. It's fun to watch it hunt.

I also have a dog. His name is Hermes. We were either going to call him Hermes or Frodo. My dad and Coconut wanted to call him Hermes, but my Mom and I wanted to call him Frodo. I still want him to be a Frodo!

We were going to a shelter to look at some dogs, and that's when we met Hermes. Coco found him right away and refused to leave him. He was the only other quiet dog at the shelter. The others were bouncing around in their cages, barking their heads off. The other quiet dog was supposed to be dangerous. Apparently he hurt a kid or something.

We had to wait to get Hermes, because he had arrived at the shelter the day before. They said he was an escape artist, because he'd been at the shelter before. So we came back two days later and bought Hermes! That night we found out he had fleas, so he had to sleep outside. We were planning to make him an outside dog anyways.

The next morning we went outside to give him a bath. He was gone. We checked a bunch of shelters to see if one has picked him up. Sure enough, one had! We went back and picked him up, and payed close attention to him while he was outside. It was decided that he would be an inside dog. Once, we saw him trying to climb the fence! He climbs it like a ladder!

Now we've had Hermes for two years. HE IS THE MOST ADORABLE DOG IN THE WORLD! We don't know for sure what breed he is, but he looks like an Aussie/German Sheppard mix. Google it, but he's still cuter then any of them. And I'll bet smarter.

I've taught him (all by myself, no book, or trainer other then me) to sit, stay, come, lay down, roll over, shake, jump, and one where I point a finger gun at him and say "piew" (as in a star wars blaster shot) and then he'll flop over onto his side!

Our (Cho and I's) dog, Hermes, doesn't bark unless he thinks something's wrong. We always pay attention when he barks.

Swift says "okne." Okay or Okinawa? Yes, my BFF moved to Okinawa. Cry

Wow! I never knew everyone had so many pets! And I never knew that you would have eight cats...... talk about a mouse's nightmare.

I love Cats. And Dogs. And Mice. And Squirrels, plus I think Lynxes are amazing, and I love Lions, also Cheetas are pretty cool, and let's not forget about Chipmunks! Oh, and I think Kittens are so cuuuuuute!! I like Voles, Shrews, Deer, Mice, Tigers, Snakes, Owls, Unicorns, Dragons, Griffons, Dinosours, Saber-Tothed-Tigers, Prehistoric Beasts, Bats, Gazzels, Marlins, Horses, Sheep, Gaots, Foxes, and every other animal in the world! Exept for Elephants.

All the cats you listed sound wonderful! And of they're not as wonderful as they sound, you'll still miss them if they die.

That's the thing with death. You just think your pet will always be there with you, comforting you when you're sad, sharing secrets with them, petting them, and just existing with them. Then, one day, they're gone. It feels like they'll never come back. But they're still there, with you. You just can't see them.

Here is a message to all your cats. All your pets. Everyone's pets.

The message:

Hello, cats and pets of the world. Yes, I know you can read this. And I know that you can easily take over the world, you just don't want to because if you outwardly control the world, we humans will stop giving you love, pets, and our deepest secrets. You're smarter than that. So you have contacted the cats. With their cute eyes and pleading mews, they have slipped themsieves into our society, and in truth, all you pets are controlling the world. But subtlely, oh so subtlely.

You don't want to deal with the politics. You just want to make sure that we humans will never try to kill pets. Yes, I know all about your plans. And that is why I send this message. I want to tell you that you're doing great. No one suspects you except me. I just want to say as well, I'm not going to expose you. Everyone who reads this who isn't a pet will think it a joke. So I say to you, keep up the good work buddy, keep it up.

Sincerly, _______ Wishing you;

Peace, Love, and Pie

Wow that was so weird! I got it in the mail, and it came with instructions to post it on Cricket. Weird.... (Cue Doctor Who theme song.) Oh, hey! Just remembered! Do any of you swim in Blue Marlins? Because I do. Just wondering if I'll ever meet you in real life.....

Wow, I just trailed off onto a completely different thread of thought that had nothing to do with pets! I do that sometimes.... it's sort of weird... Well, I'll post soon!

This just seems to be my signature, so...

Peace, Love, and Pie

I have two dogs and a snake.

Dog 1

Ivan: we got him at Northshore Animal League in May he is really cute and super sweet.  He is about 10 months and kind of crazy.  He has black shiny fur, rottweiler markings some white chest fur, super cute soft fuzzy floppy ears he loves food anything we don’t really know what breed he is but we think bluetick coonhound, rottweiler, lab or rottweiler lab many breeds have those markings so we're pretty unsure he is pretty big about 50 or 60 pounds

Dog 2

Maggie: she is 12, 13 soon.  Maggie has reddish fur and lots of other colours mixed in.  She has a long muzzle and cute half floppy ears.  She is reallynsweet but can be really annoying because she is so vocal.  She can also be kind of mean her and Ivan don't get along ge wants to play and she doesn't so she fights him and he fights back and tries to play.  She is barking right now.  I love maggie she is pretty big like 70 or so pounds

Snake 1

Ziggy: Ziggy is an okeetee corn snake I got him a few years ago.  He has a cool pattern, very colorful.  He is very sweet and has no teeth.  Once he bit because he was scared and it didn't hurt at all he is medium sized and eats frozen mice ( thawed )

My brother and I used to have a Guinea pig, Lily I was 5 and she got sick but you can't tell that they are sick until they are really sick so the vet had to put her to sleep.  My mom came and said and I started laughing, I don't know why I was just really sad and had a weird reaction.  We buried her with a carrot.  It was really sad.  Twice I had sea monkeys when I was little, once I brought them in for show and tell and someone spilled them once they just died it was sad I was 5.

I have five beautiful chickens: a crazy buff orpington named Zahava (gold in Hebrew), two barred rocks named Shakespeare (Barred/Bard-get it?) and Puck (from A Midsummer Night's Dream), and two red stars named Scoot (because when you pet her she 'scoots' under your hand) and Shooter (My brother wanted to name the other red star something that sounds like Scoot, she will not actualy shoot you... most likely).

Shooter is the leader of the hens and is REALLY loud! Her butt is bald and we are not sure why. Scoot is next on the pecking order and she is curious and if you hold food over her head one second too long she will jump three feet in the air and grab it from you! Shakespere is next and she is very bold and always the first to try new things. Zahava is next and she is kinda mean and will peck you really hard if she is mad or wants attention. She will also peck the other hens and once made poor Shakespeare's head bleed! But we love her anyway! She is also EXTREMELY FLUFFY!!!!!! And gold! Puck is the smallest hen and is very sweet and not very outgoing, which is why one of the other hens- guess who- choughhackchoughZahavachoughhackchough pecks her a lot.

Chickens are great pets and everyone should meet some!
