Chatterbox Nicknames

During the time l have spent here (just two months shy of one year, gah, l'm getting old) l have aquired exactly four nicknames; Shadow, Shade, SD and South Dakota.

The first one l've always called myself, l think Misti or Nora came up with the second one, and the other two made up by myself, and people started calling me that. (Not that l care, l'll answer to anything, even, "Oi! You!")

l chose the alias Shadow Dragon, 'cause, well, l like dragons and shadows.

How did you come about your name/nickname? l want to hear about it!

My name came about by reading this graphic novel in which the character calls herself "Finch" and her personality is a lot like mine, so I decided I wanted a bird name too. Wren was supposed to just be a placeholder until I found something I liked better, but it stuck, so here I am.

The only real-life nickname I have is Peggy, and I'm only called that by about two people. I usually just go by Margaret.

I suppose my nickname is extremely obvious, due to my actual name being Danielle. One of the reasons I chose this spelling, however, is because I like this spelling and no one else spells it this way. Which is annoying. There is Danny, Dany, Danielle, but no Danie. So, to be a rebel, I spelled it like Danie.

I have so many...XD.

Cakepop, Poppy, and Pop from Nora.

Cakey, Cawwit, and CawwitCakey from Misti.

Caykester and Caykeh from Magic Dragon.

I came up with KittyGirl, because, well, I like cats and I'm a girl. Not very creative. Cho calls me Kitty Pryde, who I had never heard of but then I looked her up and shes pretty cool. (She's a Marvel Superhero I believe). I have no nicknames in real life that I am willing to share, because I don't want to share my real name, except I guess sometimes my friend pronounces my name differently than it's supposed to be pronounced.

Since my middle name is Rose, and I sign my name with a rose bud, that sort of became my symbol. So I choose Rose bud for my Cber name.

Hm, interesting topic, Shadow Dragon!

*storyteller voice* Let me tell you, children, the tale of a long time ago when I came up with a brilliant nickname....* :)

I was bored one day, and I began to think of email addresses for myself, and Poetic Panda was one I came up with. Oddly enough...I still don't have an email. *sigh* Oh, well.

So...yeah. That's pretty much it. It just kinda came to me.

My CB nickname is Curio. The Ominous was the first to use it, in the very first "days" of the RMS Tiny ski lodge, and it stuck. Or rather, I made it stick, since I'd been wanting a nickname like that for ages.

I have been called some really weird things in real life: Sissy-Poo, Pumpkinhead, Rainbow Brite, Fiendish Fiend, and Mrs. Turner come to mind. My last name isn't even Turner! Come on!

Koda says ydch. Yiddish? What would you be saying that for? I don't speak Yiddish, and neither do you, Koda.

Nickname: Francie

Why: My mom wanted to name me that and my great grandma was named Frances but everyone called her Francie.  Plus, I like it better than my real name.

*Shrugs*. I like Doctor Who. I've been called Rider before, but I suggested that because it sounds more fantasyish than TARDISrider.

My CB name came from, oddly enough, a stuffed animal I've had since I was 2 years old. She's an American Girl stuffed animal, so she's hard, but I don't care. I hope I'm understood in that way, having stuffed animals. *sheepish grin*

Swift says "iwfu." Aw, she said I Love You! You're so sweet, Swift. *reaches down to hug Swift, Swift bites my arm* OW! What was that for ?

Oh, I was wondering about that, Coconut the dog!! I've heard of the AG Coconut, who's a dog, and I was always wondering if that was where you got it! Now I know! :)

My nickname is the name of one of my own characters, but put into the feminine case.

I haven't actually discovered what it means yet, though I'm 99.9% certain that it will have something to do with either stars or wind, or both. :)
