Is anyone else here obsessed-ish with doing hair? I know like literally all styles of French, Dutch, fishtail, and lace braiding ever, and am always trying them out on my friends and on myself. In fact, my mom runs far, far away every time she sees me eyeing her hair XD. Does anyone else like to do braid stuff too?
Cookie says rgan. Run, go, and nope? Hmph, she doesn't want HER hair done either.

Cayke, I am truly just curious, but how do you do your hair? In the picturing thing, you said you wore a headscarf.
I really, really apologize if this sounds offensive in any way, I'm pretty inexperienced. If this sounds offensive, please tell me!

No, that's not offensive at all!! My hair is longish so I usually have it in a bun or something while I'm outside so it doesn't show underneath my headscarf. At home it's in ponytails, braids, anything you name! :D I hope that answered you question. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!! I don't mind at all.

OH MY GOSH. I think you may be a kindred spirit, as Anne-with-an-E said- I love hair and braids and my friends won't let me braid their hair anymore! :P

Oh my gosh, first of all, you like Anne of Green Gables too? YAS KINDRED SPIRITS!! Also, no, I haven't checked that out, but I will! I learn most of my braids from videos.! What's your favorite braid?

Anne of green gables is one of my favorite books! Have you read the whole series?
my favorite braid is probably a Dutch braid. If you fluff them out you look like. Greek goddess or something, heehe!

OHMYGOSH mine too!! I have indeed read the whole entire series, and every book by L.M. Montgomery I could get my hands on.

My hair is short. It's just too much of a hassle to take care of because it's so freaking thick! So I can't do anything to my hair. My mom also has short, thick hair so that isn't an option. My sister has long hair, and she won't let me do anything to it! Grrr...
I can do French, lace, Dutch, fishtail, and regular braids. If someone showed me how to do more I could learn. I love doing hair!

I don't know.
Like, I can basically do anything, but I won't do anything for long periods of time... if that makes any sense...
Like one day I'll be like "Hmm... I haven't done my hair in a while.." and an hour later my room is a hair salon. And I'll love it for like 2 days, then find some cute chinchilla pictures and forget there's anything on my head for a few weeks to months at a time. But eventually I'll get into it, and so the cycle repeats itself.

This may be a bit complicated, but here I go.
I love doing my hair. Usually, they are teeny braids done up in some way. BUT, I started using the Curly Girl method roughly a month ago, and my hair has become wavy/curly, and now according to the book, I can't use those tiny braids on my hair.
They have hair ideas in the book, but I can't adjust to those ones. A week or two ago, my mom said I couldn't put my hair up in one way at night, because my hair was trying to turn into dreadlocks.
And trust me, that would not look good with my hair. So now my hair is wavy/straight. And I'm really tempted to do my hair up ...
I did have the idea today to braid my hair, then put it up in a bun tonight, so hopefully that will work ... otherwise YOUR GOING UP IN BRAIDS, HAIR! XD

I don't mean to brag, but I was born with perfect hair. It's very smooth, it's dark golden brown, and whenever I take a shower, I just have to brush it and it instantly springs into graceful organized curls.
