Happy Easter!
Nobuggy made a thread like this yet, I don't think, but maybe
they did and it just didn't get posted yet, cause I don't think the Admins have
been on at all today.

Grace♥

P.S. Do any of you have special foods on Easter? My mom makes this really
REALLY good spread called Pascha! It's made out of Riccoda cheese (it doesn't
taste like cheese) sugar, butter, cream, orange and lemon rind (that's where
most of the flavor comes from) and milk. The consistency is supposed to be
smooth and thick like pudding, but sometimes it turns out different. This year
it's the texture of the Riccoda cheese, for some reason it didn't blend in very
well. We spread it on easter bread, which is bread that is a little bit sweet
(not much) that's made in a coffee can shape and decorated on top with Christ
symbols. (we use icing that drips down the sides and jelly beans).

Umm, is it normal for the post script to be longer than the original post?? :D:D:D

I don't have any special food, though I'm sure the rest of my dad's family does!!

This year we had the big party and it was FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (more details later perhaps)

Hey BellaTrix, were the cupcakes good? Cause sometimes Whole Foods makes really gross desserts. Anyway, my brother is not eating eggs, and it's hard to find desserts for him. Do you know what brand of cupcakes they were?????

Thanks!!

My family doesn't have any special food on Easter except chocolate (duh!). But the thing you were talking about, Grace, sounds really good. Except I don't like orange in my food. After going to Mass, we had coffee with our friend the seminarian, went out to brunch and then my dad, mom, and I watched the Masters (major golf tournament, my dad loves golf) on TV while my siblings played on our next door neighbors blow up slide. Ok, g2g

We always have a leg of lamb for Easter. Last year we got a couple lambs, fed them, and we ate 20s leg this easter. (We called the lambs 20 and 21 because that's what their ear tags said.)
