We were going to get one, but didn't.  I live in Maine too!!!  You don't have to tell me yout city, but do you live in Southern Maine??

Hey,

I live in Waldo County....... thanks for answering.... just wondering... I think that we should definitely be doing things to help our home planet stay healthy!!!! But I haven't decided yet if cars like a Prius will help the environment. Sure, it saves gas, but what happens to the huge battery inside when it is all used up? How will that get disposed of?

The reason we were going to get one, was that they were supposedly "green" and all the stuff.  My dad looked into it, and learned that the places they make the batteries are completly destroyed because of the stuff in the battery.  So technically, if you buy a hybrid sort of car, you're actually not helping the environment.  Of course, I'm not really in to the green thing.  I do recycle though!  (mostly because of Clink!!!)

We drive a Prius, but I think solar cars are the best.  Sadly, they are not on the market yet.  Although the Prius may not be so ecological, it's still better than regular cars.

Dad drives one. So does my Grandfather. They're  sick, but they'd be sicker if they didn't beep at you if you take more then five seconds to buckle the seatbelt. *rolls eyes*

What are you talking about???  Anyway, our family drives a Prius, and it is SO cool!!!
