2) It can be used as a boys name if you change one letter (and people always spell it the boys way and it drives me nuts)

3) Many famous saints share this name

4) It's not popular

5) There is a country that would be the same as my name, except it's missing the last letter

It's a very pretty name. I don't think I've ever met- only heard of- a female Frances. Cool.

(Of course, I like Mary a little teensy tiny mniscule infintesimile bit more- but don't take offense at that, that's just because it's my name. :D Frances is cooler, though, because it's so less common. :D
