Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Could you please

Could you please answer this? I have to get 15 people to answer this, and i have 9 or 10. It's for Social Studies. Thanks!

1. Do you agree/disagree with illegal immigrants coming to the U.S.? (On a scale of 1-10 (agree 1 and disagree 10)

2. Do you think illegal aliens should be allowed the same rights as citizens? On a scale of 1-10 (1 being yes, 10 being no.)

3. Should immigrants first learn the language of English and our laws before coming to the U.S.? on a scale of 1-10 (1 being you strongly agree and 10 being strongly disagree.)

Again, thanks!

Sure, Maggie. I'd love to.

1. 20. It's called illegal immigration for a good reason.

2. 20. Same as above.

3. 1. Makes sense, doesn't it? Well, now that Spanish is so prevalent, I guess it depends, but in general I'm all for that.

1. 6. I don't exactly think everyone should come here illegally, but some of these people have huge problems in their own countries and we shouldn't just keep them out.

2. 5. But only if they are legalized and follow the becoming-a-citizen procedure.

3.6. If they can, they should, but some people can't.

1. Probably 7. I don't like the idea of illegal immigrants, but I don't completely disagree.

2. Definetly 9. They broke the law. Why should they?

3. 1!!! If they want to break the law and come here, they should learn about our culture and stuff first!!!

1. 9. every once in a while there is a case where I think there could be an exception.

2. HUH!?!?!? I'm confuzzled!!! :D:(

3. 2. In some cases they can't learn but you would think that if they were going to break the law they would want to know what they could and couldn't do once they were here.
