I made a mistake.

I should have written this long ago.

Special Olympics.

Does those two words matter to anyone out there?

They matter very much to me.

All the people out there from 8 and up with special needs come together and participate in Olympic sports. My sister who turned 9 years old on the 15th has Down Syndrome. Thats nothing to be ashamed of. I went and I watched her in the Oregon Summer State Games (2016). This one athlete played the most amazing National Anthem on guitar. He also shared these words: "Let me win, but if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt." (Athlete's Oath) I got those words printed on my spendy new coat. My mom was a hugger when she was young, now she has a daughter participating. I don't want this to be another thread where no one answers. If you participate, have a sibling who participates, or just is another person in this universe; I want to HEAR YOUR VOICE! "WE ARE CHAMPIONS AND YOU'RE GONNA HEAR US ROAR!" ~ Lincon County

I've... I've never heard of the Special Olympics, but I love those words. One of my sisters has autism, so I understand sort of how it is. It is also suspected that another one of my younger sisters has autism, but she is too young to tell. So high-five to your sister! She is a brave soul for trying, and I respect her for that.

Oh! One of my younger brothers has autism, too! I also have never heard of the Special Olympics. And Ashlee, I don't mean to be nosy, but is Bunnyloves the one with autism? Because you said when I commented on her grammer and spelling, "She doesn't have the ability to improve it"
