Chatterbox: Down to Earth

It's earth day!

It's earth day! My social studies teacher celebrated it by telling us NOT to do our homework on paper... hehehe so we have them in our laptops and we have to show it to him tomorrow now.

Haha... We planted a big chunk of our garden today... not intentionally, actually, but that's the way it worked out. :) Besides, this way we got discounts for most of the seeds we bought, which was very nice. :)

While my brother was washing his paintbrushes, we were talking about how to be 'green'.  He obviously knows less about greeness than I do, because while he was saying that, he was letting the water run in the sink while he wasn't using it!!!! :):) It was sort of funny, though... :)

There is this cool site that has all these weird official holidays, like Be Late For Something Day and stuff like that. There is one for every day of the year.

In my family, it is allways be late for something day. Also to my family everyday is earth day. On earth day we went mushroom hunting or something, we didn't find any. Also, i helped some bell peppers and tomato and other little baby plants to get stronger by blowing on them and stuff. i don't remember what else we did. Oh yes, we picked up some compost, we have our own compost pile, but we don't really stir it up. We don't turn onlights in the day, I only turn them on when i go in my room because my room is in the basement and dose not have any windows. I HATE global warming! Dad wants to get solar panels soon, but the closest we have to that is a flash light with solar panels, and it is also wind up. We also have solar path lights. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE earth day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wishthat everyone would celebrate earth day everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then the ice won't be water in ten years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I won't have to tell my grand children what a polar bear is and looks like. or maybe even a tree. Then we would have to have oxegen tanks. :(
