The Truth of

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

The Truth of

The Truth of This

So... I know many - if not all - of you are very upset about the result of the election. I am too, you have no idea how much anger this has caused me. But, I just wanted to let you guys know this isn't the end. There have been worse situations. Think back at Hitler, WWII, WWI, the Great Depression, school shootings, 9/11, terrorism, gender and religion inequality, and so much more.

We need to remember that we are the generation that will be voting next. While we might not agree with the result of this election, the future is in our hands. It is our job to better educate ourselves in comparison to our elders. Not that all the adults were wrong, I just feel our minds are more clear than the older generations, for we are younger, not brought down by the life of adulthood.

And in all honesty? The world is still going on. Trump will not be in office until February, and even when he is President, he will have no right to take away what makes us America. What makes we, the people, united. And I understand not everyone on the CB lives in the US, and that is fantastic, this is just for anyone who is concerned like I.

Our friends, family, and selves will build up the best future for the generations to come. Just hold on strong, we might be in a storm, but I promise all of us will come out well. In fact, we will be stronger than we were before. Just keep on going strong, CB!

I'm praying for you, America, keep strong, keep true.

What specifically are you afraid Trump is going to do?

In all honesty, I don't have much fear. He can't do much without the consent of others. It is just, I know a lot of people hold fear, and I think that the biggest for everyone - including myself - is the fear of the unknown. I am glad you asked, though.

When you say there "was" gender and religion inequality . . .

I think Trump is going to be the one stirring up the "inequality."

I agree with the rest of what you said, though.

Yeah, I know there still is gender and religion inequality, my apologies for misplacing that. Sadly, you are right that Trump will be stirring up more inequality.

I think that it's probably for the better that we have who we have for President, rather than the alternative.

I don't really think that his presidency is going to effect me that much, but it's going to effect my friends, and that makes me ANGRY.

I'm not running out on America.
