Hi, Ch

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

 Hi, Ch

Hi, Chatterboxers!

My name is Tesseract, and I've come here from Museblog. I've noticed that several Chatterboxers have been drifiting over to the blog, and we're glad to have you! If you're planning on coming, a few tips. :)

First of all, we just say "Museblog," not "The Museblog." It's less of a mouthful. That is, keyboardful.

Second, it's really pretty easy to navigate. You can't make threads, you just reply to them. It's technically a blog software, so our threads and posts are really posts and replies. The most recent posts are in the sidebar. Once you're at a thread, just enter your name or a blogname you'd like to be called, your email address, and whatever you'd like to say. You'll definitely want to read the HG2MB and the Rules, which are found on the top bar. Lurking for a couple days isn't a bad idea, either; you'll get a good idea of the culture of the blog that way.

Thirdly, try to keep everything you have to say in one post at a time (per thread, that is). It keeps the blog neater and people friendlier that way. :)

And lastly, the pies are for welcome and STAY AWAY FROM THE BUNNIES.

Pies out!

Those are two synonyms for GAPA. OEAD = Our Exalted Administrator Dude; SCAMP = Slightly Crazy All-seeing Moderator Personage. You could also use MAP = MuseBlog Administrator Person, but that's getting more and more archaic.

Hee hee! Sheesh, there are a lot of MuseBlog threads! It's almost getting to be as bad as our book club!!!

I'm enjoying the MuseBlog... although I've made way too many mistakes on there. If any of you MuseBloggers want to search my chess thread, you'll see an inch-long post on the subject if the GAPAs didn't delete it...
