Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Snow begins to

Snow begins to fall on the CB. It looks magical, like fairy dust.

In the town square, Ronan looks at the sky in wonder. It hasn't snowed in ages and ages!

Then, a large snowball renders the boy blind. Ronan doesn't mind. He continues to string up lights (putting them on the statue of Mei rather than the lamppost) He sings to himself.

"It's the holiday season (the holiday season) so come one and all, to the holiday ball, in the square, don't stay in your lair! And I do hope that everyone'll be there-"

Ronan only stopped singing because he had fallen off the fence.

So it's a holiday party!

Anyone is allowed (don't be a Grinch!)

Come one, come all!

In the CB World there IS a statue of every CBer that ever existed. Ronan was hanging lights on Mei's because he misses her.

Ronan's was an innocent comment made to spread some holiday cheer and looks very fun (by the way, I'm in!)

I think we can all agree that Mei is somebody to be commemorated.

I'm here!!! I brought the handmade ornamemnts and lots of homemade deserts!

Turgon- I made sure she brought donuts for spyro!

Oh yeah, I have no idea how to make donuts, so there's a 10 pound bag of Dunkin Donuts donuts for you on that table over there, Spryo.

Actually there isn't a table there. Just a huge bag of donuts, some big pieces ofplastic, and a very hungry dragon.

Hmm.... I guess I must of ordered the 100 pound box by accident. Oops.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hannakuh, Kwanza, Chineze New Year, etc. everybody!!! I'll be back with presents later!

Ooohhh, you got presents?! Did you get stuff for me?!

Yes Turgon, I got you a present. You'll get it whe everyone else get their presents.

*singing a very off-key rendition of Jingle Bells*

OH MY CAT, MY EARS!

*shudders*

C'mon, you guys, don't be such spoilsports. I'm just trying to spread joy and cheer!

Your singing gives me absolutely no "joy" or "cheer".

Hey, people, who's in for forming an impromptu holiday choir?

*crickets*

Hooray, a party!

Mellie: *jumps up and down excitedly*

Grace: A PARTYYYYYYYYYY!

I will bring cookies--lots and lots of cookies! I will make homemade chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, oatmeal and raisin, biscochitos, and of course, GINGERBREAD cookies.

For the gingerbread, I will have some plain ones. But I will also have some that I can cut into shapes and then everyone can decorate their own. I have stars and gingerbread men and women cutters.

1. What other shapes do you want? Let me know, and I'll get one and have your cookie for you.

2. Who's bringing frosting, candy, and sprinkles for everyone to decorate their cookies?

Awesome!

I put up a giant chanukiah (candelabra that you light on Chanukah) and set it up with gigantic candlesticks. I hope that Princess Icicle won't freeze the wicks before Chanukah starts and we try to light it.

Wishful thinking.

Ooh, IDEA!

Presents seem to be a tradition of quite a few of these holidays. What if every CBer gave a present to ever other CBer who has commented on this thead? That way, everybody would give a ton of presents and get a ton, too! Or, we could assign everyone a person too which they alone will give a present. But that seems to complicated. What do you guys think?

I am absolutely in! I'll bring my mom's famous (not really, but my teachers usually love them) snowball cookies. They have finely chopped walnuts in the dough. And are rolled in sugar, to look like snowballs. They are delicious. Also, we can't forget rich, creamy, steamy hot cocoa!
